Sometimes drivers are just looking for times, and are not racing each other. They ensure they are on max boost before leaving the line, as the clock starts when you cross the start line, not when the light goes green. You could lose a race to a slower car if you take several seconds to leave, but you could still record a faster 1/4 mile time. That is the reaction part of the race, and as mentioned, some drivers aren't bothered about that. Hope that explains it.

Gábor Babai it has 528bhp on Nitros so probably 600nm maybe more

T.Macca17 800NM+ for sure. I have 400hp with 780nm on my tdi without nitro or methanol.

Not really, they cost about 125k and have the same bhp. Anyway this car now runs a 9.4, so loads quicker than the Porsche. Still prefer the Porsche if I was being given one.....
