Robert Wells Yeah. If they fund the title with Trailer cinematics and awe inspiring gameplay I believe it would sell. They already have an awesomely designed characters and Dart Feld is a great protagonist. The dragoon armour by itself already looks badass. I want to see it happen but the cancellation of the game remake makes me dont want to hope anymore.

Cade Gant So your PC must suck, I find the graphics in this game perfect. The art style on the characters is more original and not so heavy on the animation department unlike Assassins Creed or Batman Arkham. The backgrounds are stunning and you can see every single crack in the stone and blade of grass on the ground.

I'm sad that THQ went out of business. The next game was planned to be a four player coop with all the horsemen playable at once. I would've picked Strife :P

Oh yeah I heard that too, but they didn't merge. They had to sell off all their assets because they went bankrupt. The new company said they are continuing the game, but probably not in the same way that THQ would've gone with it. If it were me I'd do 5 games. 1 for each of the horsemen, telling what they were doing up until the moment the seventh seal was broken in Darksiders. Then the last game be about the post seventh seal breaking with all four riders together in one game as a multiplayer campaign.

Yeah I think each horseman deserves their own game too. I heard they brought back some or most of the staff that made Darksiders 1 and 2. So hopefully the vision isn't too far off from when THQ was in business planning it out.

The backstory of the horsemens life is that to teach War respect at some point, Death (being the leader of the Horse men) cut Wars arm off. This was part of the story made up by Joe Mad. (the artist & creator of Darksiders characters) He's also planning a comic book series (if not already) which might fearture this 'arm cutting off'

both games have their unique features to be stand-alone, specialy considering the protagonists, War and Death are almost polar opposites. War is brute, quiet and short-fused, you will really enjoy the bloody way he disposes of his enemies (or simply how he KICK doors open) while Death is more refined and sarcastic, also more athletic, which means in his game, you will have a lot of wall-runs, climbings, acrobatic maneuvers and some stuns even batman would get jealous. War fights like a Kratos on steroids, and Death...he is too epi to describe xD Darksiders I is slightly linear but with an open-world map. All goes to the basic hack-n-slash, and Zelda-esque dungeons with very interesting puzzles that require moving stuff and activating switches (and don't worry, Death and War can stay underwater without the need to breathe...). Darksiders II picks the same, but the map is HUMONGOUS! Its open-world in RPG style, with lots of dungeons limited by your puzzle-solving skills, enemies and chests that drop gear you equip and exp to unlock skills, In darksiders I, you purchase your skills from a vendor conveniently placed here and there (and able to teleport you between his location for fast traveling) and both games have a lot of enemies to fight roaming around. The Graphics are good and the designs are AMAZING. Something in the level of realism from Assassins Creed and Batman Arkham, but with little to absolutly no lag (specialy because it barely have lip movements to synch in cutscenes, thankfuly) and some beautifuly designed backgrounds, dungeons and characters. Both games are well-recomended and have pretty much no flaw to complain in their area. (and are really cheap on Steam, with or without sales)

eddie PR I think the biggest difference was the sheer size of the maps, for me, when I finished forgelands, I was like "wait, is this game over?" but then, BAM! the world of the deads, even bigger map!

The thing about Darksiders 2 is that it's more based on Death's loyalty to War in proving his innocence rather than about Death's actual character, and while he was still a total badass, you really didn't get to see how Death really is. In the comics, he's loyal to his fellow horsemen, and that's it, even going as far as disobeying orders from the council, knowing he'd feel their later, knowing that they could strip him of his powers and allow him to rot in oblivion, Death just doesn't care

The story of this series is right up there at the top for me. I absolutely love the concept, the art, and the animations. I need to get a hold of the comics though. I only got the first one for pre-ordering Darksiders.

Their personalities are very different from each other. I think that was one of the reasons why I liked Death. Unlike War, Death is patient and tolerating. He thinks before he acts and he is easy to reason with. And most of all, he has a funny sense of humour.

It's meant to be sort of like a comic book so he's supposed to have an exaggerated appearance, plus if you don't like how his body looks you can customise him with armor and clothes. The Necromancer attire is my favourite.

just beat the game yesterday on apocalyptic and surprisingly it had a harder difficulty setting called nightmare mode and once you die on that mode you start all over again, bouta start my new quest on that mode later on today after work.

So, you don't realise this until after you play the game, but I'm pretty sure that giant thing Death grievously maimed in that trailer, was the Guardian of the Forge Lands. You know, a GOOD GUY. True, they had some problems with corruption and all that, but that Guardian's head crystal looked pretty clean to me.

In this game that is incorrect, Samael as seen in Darksiders 1 was called angel of death by War (he was the angel you found in the black tower). This is the rider of death.
