I always loved how this soundtrack brings that fanatsy-like atmosphere of a dying world. It brings mixed feelings of joy that we are on a one hell of adventure, and sadness seeing what the world has become, that it is dying from the disease, which Corruption is. Besides, the idea that Death himself, a literal end of everything that exists and lives, is going to bring back humanity to life, outplays perfectly with this soundtrack, also highlighting some personality of Death as very melancholic, sarcastic, cold being
