His head grew three sizes that day and it was hilarious to watch. The dude actually though that a couple tweets getting love (tweets that were just Dave joining the dog pile and dunking on a guy who was at his lowest point btw) was going to completely change everything for him and give him a new start. Honestly yeah, people are fine with crowdfunding weddings even. Hell, if an IRL friend makes a Kickstarter for a wedding I'm dropping some cash on them, or someone that looks like they need the money because they're very into each other and just want to get married in a cool event. That's one of the things that... doesn't bother me, but is weird. He lies about things he doesn't need to and is partly what put his career in the halt it spent until he got slightly better on Twitch (as far as numbers, anyhow).

Phil is addicted to the attention, positive and negative. Even if he were to get a well paying normal job, the fact that he would have to be a average Joe would be too much. The wedding fiasco is basically how I suspect he is a compulsive liar. As in, he could easily be honest about wanting money for his wedding, nobody would complain and hell, even non-followers likely would drop money for him to get married. It is super sus Khet is gone from social media, though it sometimes happens. What weirds me out is just how... opposite she is of how Leanna showed herself. Like, Leanna randomly popped in, greeted the chat, bantered with Phil, left, just showed up to say some stuff, was a lot on his posts and even mostly looked very content and comfortable showing up with him... hell, he took her on vacations even! And Kat just... exists... and when she was with him, she looked like she wanted to be anywhere else; then there's the whole no honeymoon, no big stuff to do with her, not spending for her (to each their own, I mean not even small details or random stuff she may like. I dunno, actually purchase Skyrim for her for example)... then there's not knowing much about what she watches or likes.
