4:10 Running to the front of the train thinking you just have to open the front cabin and they drop a dreg boss on you, the train progression bar not stopping at all and then having only seconds before the whole thing blows up when you're finally smashing the computers, genuinely the most fun I've had in a very long time with Darktide

Ive played and failed this mission many times, but there was one time the Emperor himself dropped me (Knife zealot) into a lobby of 3 other knife zealots. It felt like a team of 4 coked-out honey badgers had been unleashed on this train, by far the easiest and most fun run I've ever had.

I really like how the new music that comes out with these kinds of updates evolve the tone set by the initial release into something more corrupted, like as the choral parts and organ of the first batch of songs start fighting dirtier the further down the hive we go, more weird techno stuff gets added to the soundscape. The level itself surprised me with how variable it can be despite being on a train

I've yet to complete it on Damnation. It's absolutely possible, but the nature of this being a co-op game is that if even one player is slow it drags everyone down, and based on pure statistics you're going to have a slow player in basically every game. Even a great player is also going to struggle if they bring a build poorly suited to the map that lacks mobility and cc.

Up until now, the missions seemed pointless- thankless. Just doing work to make someone elses life easier, or to spite our enemy Not here. The stakes a clear- if we die here, so does an entire regiment of the Emperors finest. We're not going down there because its dangerous and we're expendable. We're down there because this is the best chance any of them have Admittedly this is low stakes for 40k, and most of those men will probably die fighting for nothing, but we ARE those little guys here, we have an actual frame of reference. This is something we can see, not just a move on our inquisitors board

If you've taken the time to listen to every song of the Darktide OST like I have, that much should be apparent. Duelling sabre makes perfect sense for veteran and I was always confused why it wasn't there before, but honestly imo it doesn't suit the zealot. Gameplay-wise sure it can synergise extremely well with some of the zealot's talents & abilities, but it doesn't feel like a zealot-y weapon at all, when you think of zealot nobody thinks of a duelling sword.

5:21 ^ THIS! This is what i love about this mission. When you're fighting the boss, half of your team are as dumb as bricks, the half other than you is dead, and the boss is almost dead! However, with the clock ticking, you can't help but to look at the time while destroying the final machine parts before winning! I swear, this feels a bit longer in game. Does it change depending on the location of the level you're at? Regardless. DAMN this is fire! I like it more than the actual official release from Fatshark. Dynamic Soundtracks win again!
