hey i am new, how many wounds are good for martyrdom like, when its worth over the crit talent on the left side of the tree
@Vamp06133 ай бұрын
Generally when you do martyrdom you full send wounds as you get functionally tankier and tankier at lower hp values assuming you don’t eat overheads or lose your cheat death cooldown from reasonably avoidable damage. Since each stack is 8% damage and 4% attack speed it is already a significant increase compared to blazing piety if you are not making use of weapons that actually have strong enough crit damage bonuses.

So I’m confused with hammer do you just charge it and heavy stuff? I haven’t touched one since forever ago but I wanna bonk stuff for full health bars how do? Teach me plz ilysm

In this new update Cruxis (i think original thunder hammer mk II), after you charge it and immediately Heavy attack. it will have overhead heavy charge that have massive damage. Plus if you hold a little longer for thrust blessing, it will bonk most stuff. But for maul/crusher/reaper still need to do ultimate before charged and hold bonk.

The changes are explained completely in the Patch Notes but this is my best effort to summarize: Overall Thunder Hammer Changes: 1. Base Damage, Finesse, and Swing Speed were beefed up a decent amount. This means many non-Crusher/Mauler targets can be killed with normal Lights and Heavies at respectable rates. 2. The duration of the stun from an Activated Special Hit was dramatically reduced so it's much safer to dodge and recover from committing with a big attack without being forced to take a hit trade with an enemy. 3. Melee swing range has been slightly extended to reduce chances of whiffing on targets that seem like they should have been hit from a decently long hammer. For the Crucis in particular (the one I'm using here): 1. Heavy 1 is normally a big right to left horizontal sweep attack but when it's a weapon special activation it changes into an Overhead attack to help hit higher threat targets more consistently. Overall, Crucis performs in a manner that fits its intended use better. In this run, with some combination of Martyrdom stacks, Slaughterer stacks, or Thrust Stacks I can reliably 1 hit near every Elite in the game without trouble if I land a headshot without having to use Chastise the Wicked. Alternatively, you could spin up a Heavy 1 without Activated Hit and use Chastise the Wicked to do similar target damage while still having some measure of cleave. For monsters it's just a matter of also landing the weakspot hit but instead of the meme 1-2 shot instant kill damage potential, Monsters survive just a bit longer but are still essentially paper against a Thunder Hammer in a way that still feels lore accurate.

@@Vamp0613 bro thank you so much for taking the time to explain that! I really appreciate you my boy

It swings way too fast now IMO, in making it more powerful it actually seems like it has lost its weight.
@Vamp06133 ай бұрын
That's only due to Martyrdom stacks, if you run Blazing Piety or IJ it looks more restrained

Is the mark 2 better than the mark 4 hammer now?
@Vamp06133 ай бұрын
Just preference if you want better single target damage or cleave potential.
