honestly I think the version of Molly's death we have now is MORE shocking than the cutscene. Because you would expect something like that to be a cutscene, when it just happens with no warning it catches people way more off guard

i had never seen anything regarding molly's death, so when i played the game all the way through myself for the first time a couple years ago it absolutely caught me off guard. it was so gorey, despite the lack of more extreme visuals, even by gta standards

For 22:25, this cutscene also happens when you do not disobey Michael, but simply take too long for his taste. I learned this when I tried to do a run where I follow all traffic rules lol.

20:55 I just realized that why is this even a fail? Does the game really expect us to think that after the shootout to get the bike that franklin cant handle a few guys and then just steal the boat back? its not like he is gone forever just because Michael lost the boat.

Yeah, as extra note its so lame that we never get to see Michael's yacht again, it wouldve been great (side)mission to track it down! Its not like the thieves didnt give Jimmy any sorta names or addresses that Lester couldnt follow, right? It was already weird that the boat has so many passenger ready to kill for the score, Michael shouldve shown em lessons in how robbery is done

An interesting fact about the characters is that even tough Ron and Franklin never meet personally in the storyline when Franklin kills Ron he will text you and you have to pay for his medical bills, in the message it will appear as a normal sms from another character (with pfp and name) but when you call him it won’t show as a saved contact it just appears his phone number

Which is why it works. Yes Michael did stop him but when the cops arrive we start to think that maybe he did get to press it and Michael didn't stop him in time. That's a possible explanation so we don't think too much about it until the truth is revealed

7:15 ive seen someone point something out about the cutscene sometime ago, not sure where, but they said something along the lines of "why did the guy take michael to the ground? Nothing happened.". The engine can still explode and potentially send shrapnel and other things flying everywhere, so its better to be on the ground minimising the area the shrapnel can impact you.
