This was one of the few streams I've caught live and I remember chat trying to get Matt to put the icing in the fridge while baking the rest of the cake, more people joined in and after close to a half hour it became an onslaught of "PUT THE ICING IN THE FRIDGE!" only to have him finally notice and put the packet of icing sugar in. 💀 It took a further couple minutes to get the actual icing in the fridge and then "Take the sugar out of the fridge" became a thing and it descended inevitably into "Put the camera in the fridge" or something. Anyway, I hope the cooking series continues and would gladly eat this cake over microwave cheesy plastic. 👍

As an amateur/student at a Uni catering service, some parts Matto does can be triggering sometimes like the shallow glass bowl and mixing up the sugar and icing sugar. Then i reflected and this vid showed me where i began as an upcoming chef. I'm proud of Matto of stepping out of his comfort zone and into some new and undiscovered jungle and pushing through it all even through chat trying to sabotage and/or help him. 4:00 this is why it's usually recommended to measure out powdered ingredients by weight instead of volume. It can occupy a different number of cups depending on how packed it is, which is essentially random based on the way you pour it. Weigh your powdered ingredients when possible!
