Great review! The speaker sounds good which was my main worry. I plan on picking one of these up if they dont sell out b4 Christmas. Is it possible to access the board so that you can add soundfonts?

As far as just unscrewing the hilt on the GH saber you show, unfortunately two of the DW GH sabers I have are not so nice that way. Notably the Darksaber and the Ahsoka Clone Wars. You have to take the hilts apart to get to the SD card and battery. Yes, I know, they have inhilt recharge ports would would seem to take care of the getting to the battery problem. Unfortunately, those behave in crazy ways on my two sabers, so I end up having to take the hilts apart in any case. And, as I mentioned before, even though a (working) inhilt charger would take care of the latter problem, you still have to take the hilts apart to get to the SD card. This is a major pain for the Darksaber. You have to align the core just right to get the screw holes in the core and the hilt properly. I can't tell you how much time I've spent at one sitting doing this for the Darksaber. The ACW is not as bad but still quite a pain. You'd think that they could make a much more sensible design for these things. It's too bad, because the features of the board are quite nice as a whole.

I just ordered a golden harvest V3 core from TXQsabers and it didn’t fit any of my LGT hilts around the handle area because the chip of the GHV3 was too wide .. do you know if it takes a specific hilt to fit

Hey, need some help I bought a proffie lgt saber and I was wondering if I could just buy a ghv3 core and slap it in my hilt. Ik it's probably a dumb question, but I wanna know for sure cuz my screws are different (I only have 2 on the back of the saber)

hey iv noticed a lot of the fonts on mine have a flicker/stutter type effect at ignition and retraction. Do you know if that is just part of those fonts or something i can change?

@@kujirajedi ok yea i just got it today in the mail and its a lot to learn. but it is so awesome to be able to do everything from the saber itself. it gets tricky with one button to control everything but once i get it all down im sure i will prefer the single button. Iv also noticed that when i change the blade color its stays on that color on every font until i change it again. is that correct also?

So, I'm looking for some new internals for my LGT saber. My other saber (Saberforge) has the in-hilt LED GHv3, so I'm familiar with the board itself. Do you think this is worth the +$20 compared to DW's Proffie board?

Do Darkwolfs golden harvest sabers come with the 47 soundfonts that they list underneath their sabers on their website and doesn't the golden harvest work the same like profile os6 or new xenopixels with the stuff like editor mode on the saber and custom ignitions etc

@@kujirajedi very cool with the easy system, are there many websites out there that make custom GHv3 soundfonts, it’s cool that the sd card holds everything (the sounds and the blade effects / colours) idk why more people buy GHv3 over Proffie

That's not a Light Saber, it's a tooth pick with a bit of metal wrapped around it! I have a proffie board in mine right now. I have two hilts though. One of them, which I dismantled, was an RGB hilt. I have the proffie board sitting in that right now, which means that I have 1 hilt with no board in it at present. I don't know whether to buy another proffie board, or a Golden Harvest board for it?

im deciding between the golden harvest board or proffie board from dark wolf sabers but i wanna know the differences. which one has more sound fonts, blade styles and character fonts in it and which one is better in your opinion because iv seen a few people say theres like a new update on the proffie board but im not sure what it does. Im definitely not gonna be adding fonts to my saber or editing and changing it or anything like that. I just want the one with more things on it since im not doing any of that stuff so yeah.
