Fun fact. This album was released on Nov. 22nd, 1963 (60 years today). It wasn't successful upon its debut because JFK's assassination happened on the same day. People weren't in the mood i suppose. 10 years later the album had a resurgence, and we enjoy it to this day.

I absolutely LOVE this song. Don’t get much more Xmassy or exciting than this one. I heard it probably 3 or more years ago on a tv ad. Didn’t catch it and somehow didn’t Shazam it nor hear it again to have the chance. Just heard it again tonight by pure chance, years later after wanting to find it out for years with KZbin searching proving fruitless as I didn’t remember the lyrics, and my eyes sprung wide open and got Shazam open straight away! Love it. Absolutely delighted I know the name of it now! Perfect Xmas song and perfect tempo too. Love it. I’d like if Brenda Lee’s was the same tempo as this but I still love this version the most with ease and Darlene does an epic job.
