WOW, they look and sound absolutely incredible! One can tell this Director is very disciplined. I definitely see a baby BCU in them, and I loved every bit of it. The precision drilling techniques, the sound, and showmanship was all there. The only thing is I'd start preparing the tubas, by making sure they're playing and dancing as well during the dance routines, because they'll need that extra training so they can prepare themselves for the collegiate level. A lot of the tubas marching in HBCU bands have to dance right along with the band. Other than that, Darlington HS definitely earned that #1 Trophy, because it well deserved! Well done Director of Bands, Staff, and the entire DHS marching band.

I always been impressed by Darlington band. I remember hearing them play during a football game years ago while being on band myself, and they always sounded great.

Its weird to know that I’ve seen the members of this band off field loading up on their bus and also in competiton twice. Always a favorite to watch.

I was thinking BCU because of the concert and dance formations or some Florida school. The "let's get the party started" in the beginning is a Marching 100 starter. The show was good and intonation is great. He is hard to find a college high school band play with intensity and intonation. I marched for Cookman too. This will be one of my fave new high schools.
