Hi SK, If we drive high wattage load using single transistor, due to high current consumption by load, is it possible damage the transistor?? If so by adding secondary transistor as you said current gain will increase. So how it is not affecting high current through the transistors by increasing current gain? Thanks for understanding!

+Deepak Chittibabu Hi, You misunderstood it seems. Just imagine. If nothing is connected in between collector and emitter. What will happen if i apply the base voltage. Its like a short and transistor will burn. But in this case you have a load (ex: heater). When you have single transistor the current is flowing but nit enough for the heater to function. Here the current flow is depending on the collector current. Thats why i am increasing it twice by using another transistor. Sure, it will not burn the bjt since here we have a load (with some resistance).
