If you don’t weed out the does then they’ll be to many. They end up getting sick and they spread it to the other does. I don’t understand is it just cause it’s a deer that’s being killed. At least they eat the deer there are people who kill the deer and leave them there. Now that’s cruel. Just remember where your nice juicy steak comes from or your nice Xmas ham. Let’s think before we make a nasty comment!!!😊❤

Amen Daniel! I am 72 yrs old and have been around hunting all my life. From my grandfather and uncles, to my Dad and 4 brothers and me, my nieces and nephews, cousins, sons, grandsons, and friends. I loved it! I'm unable to do it now, but I truly enjoy watching you and you're family. It is a wonderful way to spend time together and see who gets bragging rights! I would much rather eat meat and fish harvested by my friends and family than go to the grocery store. Just like raising your own food. Continue making memories and by the way, Great job Em!!!

People are so strange is the only word I can use. Wonder what they think of the thousands of deer that in the deep of winter in the Rocky Mountains wandering onto the railroad tracks for some possible food and the trains come barreling through with their snow blade on and kill thousands of deer at a time? Should they stop the train? Truth. Watch videos. My Uncle was engineer and told us about it. He was also a hunter and hated to see it but said natural thinning.

I miss my deer hunting days. I am 72 and female. We processed and truly enjoyed every deer we harvested. I am from Missouri and our deer were really fat. They had corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, milo, and silage to eat. Congratulation on every deer you harvest.

Amen! Daniel! Amen! I’ve hunted my entire life. I can tell you that if you put to steaks in front of me, I can tell you- by taste alone- the one that was commercially raised and fed/injected with?????? tastes very different than the steak that was raised on a small farm and free ranged. I hope and pray that I always have a family member that provide me with “wild, God raised meat when I can no longer hunt. Congratulations Emma Lee! Great hunt! Y’all have a truly blessed and wonderful evening. Btw: I heard that Canerman Ron passed away this morning. My deepest condolences to all that loved him. He will be missed. Daniel, my friend you are beating a dead horse relative to explaining the hunting lifestyle. Bless you for trying and thank you for sharing the story. People opposed to that lifestyle do not want to understand. This has been a debate I have been having for 50+ years. I hunted, fished, helped both grandfathers process ranch raised animals for food. Not only for our family but others. Do what you do, share it, love it and embrace the memories you glean from it. I did and still do. The rest that don't want to understand are noise. Great video...keep doing what you do.

Daniel, don't let anyone get you down about hunting. Like you said, each harvested animal is a memorable event that still brings a smile to your face.I could give you an almost second by second replay of each deer I've harvested. Plus who, what, when and where! Just keep making those memories with your kids. Preach it Daniel! I don't mind eating deer meat and fish someone brought home from an adventure in the woods or on the water. I suppose I learned to appreciate it due to having family who hunt and fish. I can appreciate their love for being out in nature. You don't have to go out and hunt but the population of deer needs to be thinned out and that's why there is deer season with bow and rifle hunting. Keep up the fun!

I'm a female hunter, and my Grandpa's and my Daddy taught me how to hunt, fish, garden, and work on vehicles that way if anything happens I can feed and take care of my or my family. I can't hunt anymore, but I still fish. I taught my middle daughter to hunt, fish, and work on vehicles. My oldest and youngest are not into hunting, but they both fish as long as someone baits their hooks and takes their fish off for them. I never thought that I'd have girly girls, but I did. I'm turning 54 this December 2nd. Daniel I love watching you and your family. Thank you, for your videos.

To the lady that said go to the store the cost of 200lbs of hamburger meat at the local store would cost 800 dollars at the current cost in arkansas. It cost me 8 bucks to take that same amount of meat with my rifle. I’ve always said, if people could see and experience what I feel when I’m hunting in the woods. From a heavy frost as the sun warms the leaves, dripping water to the forest floor, hearing birds wake, singing their song when the sun lights and warms their wings, hearing the Bark of coyote from the entrance of their den, watching the sun rise as it lights the trees from the west all the way to the bottom of a draw, and finally warming to the East. I am so honored and humbled God has given me the ability to see what he created, and also given me the small opportunity to bring food home to my family.

Let’s get down to some brass tacks here! This family is doing what all of us should be doing for several reasons. You never know when the grocery stores will be closed for good. Years ago there was no such thing as going to a store to feed your family. Fathers and mothers taught the kids how to hunt cook and provided for the family at a very young age. Don’t know how to do that? Learn something. I have and I am not physically able to hunt but if I have to I can try. I got a porch. I’m darn proud of Daniel and his family for being able to to this and share. God bless them all.

I think a compilation video of Gyma of her tracking deer would be awesome! Kudos to Emma and letting the big bucks get bigger. food is food, you can't eat the antlers, so in the grand vision, taking a doe is A good thing for management of the herds. The bucks Emma passed on around here, would be great wall hangers. We just don't see many bigger than an 8 pointer. Once again, it's awesome seeing you take your time and spend with your kids, learning them how to hunt.

I used to post the deer my family harvested on fb. I got many complaints from it. I told them if it wasn’t for being able to harvest deer, etc my family wouldn’t be able to eat meat. They had big families and filled the freezers with all sorts of wild game. Some still do when they can. And they’re teaching their kids and grandkids to hunt. My sister has great grandchildren who hunt. After watching your kids and several others if I’m able next year I’d love to try it. I’m 74 and can shoot but never hunted when I had others do it for me. 😂
