Houston, If you care truly about your animals, you don't chase them, try to scare them or disturb them when they are eating. I grew up on a farm in Iowa. We learned to not scare them when eating because it actually upsets their stomachs and affects their health. It be like feeding you and shaking you up and down for a half hour. You would be puking Dude. So please don't do that anymore Houston. I know your only six, but you get it .

Houston is a child, children are always going to require constant redirection, they dont always walk a stright and narrow line, I'm sure his dad is giving him plenty of direction off camera, and dont want to have the whole video of him getting on to his son about everything little thing that could be viewed as wrong. I know that my days are filled with, don't do that, put that down, that's not a toy, come here, stop, watch what your doing, and my kids listen well enough, but kids dont always think, or are always aware. Houston isn't doing anything wrong, he just a boy that is full of energy and finding something to do with all that energy.

The large beige/white goat always sticks its tongue out at Daniel and Houston when they enter the barn. It's too funny. The wife and I (kids too) have pigmy Kiko goats and they behave the exact same way. Except they're smaller. We have the goats mainly to keep the lawn in control. We're on a lot of land (207 acres) like the Arms family. We don't have a dog like bear. Our Doberman hangs with the goats quite a bit. At night out goats are secured in a barn. Have lost any yet.

I can see that this will be an unpopular comment, but here goes. Housten really REALLY needs some restraint and sensible instruction on his behaviour around the animals. This yelling, chasing and bashing branches and upsetting the animals whilst feeding is not good. I know he's seven and full of life, but that's no excuse for not being calm when around the animals. Just my opinion and I hope you can see where I'm coming from.

Ok, my 0.02 I am AMAZED at the " adults" on here calling Houston names and being so hateful. He is a CHILD, and some of the "adults" are much more rude and disrespectful!!! He has good, Godly parents that are raising him with love, respect and kindness and most of all they are teaching all their kids to be Godly children. This is a little boy! Not a teenager, he isnt bashing anyone in the head, smart mouthing, he isnt hurting animals or others and to say some of the things Ive read is absolutely disheartening and sad!! I would suggest some of you think back to your own childhood and your childrens. You cant tell me yourselves or children never had a day of being full of energy. This child works this farm with his Dad and works hard to be a little guy and frankly harder than some of you. He takes his responsibilities serious.. How many of you would take this responsibility even as adults daily? If you don't like it.. Move along but to call this child names is uncalled for and makes you as a " adult " MUCH worse .. You should know better!! He isnt your child and he isnt at your house.. So before you try to correct him or his parents, learn to control YOUR mouth and actions. Let Houston be a child. Its such a short time in his life.. Let him enjoy it and be a boy. Let him run and play without being chastised by "adults" To HOUSTON, THANK YOU for making MY heart smile. I have a son about your age and he loves to watch you. He will ask what did Houston do today on the farm and then he wants to help us out like you!!! Thank you for being such a good example and helper!!! You're an awesome kiddo!!! Looking forward to more of your videos. Keep helping Dad and taking care of your animals.. And keep inspiring other little boys with lots of energy to be hard workers too!!! From my son, Cam, Hello Houston.
@jusmeinia74 жыл бұрын
So you're ok with him waving the knife around and being careless? A knife is not a toy and needs to be treated with respect or someones going to get hurt. Lessons like those are best learned at an early age which doesn't appear to be the case here.
@stephlynn24294 жыл бұрын
@@jusmeinia7 I NEVER said I was ok with him waving a knife around!!! I also NEVER brought a knife up. If you read my comment and the comments of others I was speaking of people calling him NAMES because he has a lot of energy in that one video. I may have missed something I NEVER heard him get MOUTHY.. And quite a few were talking about his ACTIONS and talking fast and how he has "gotten" or "become" not once did I say a WORD about it was OK for him to wave a knife around. So your putting something in my comment that wasn't there. I have a 8 year old who has been gifted a couple knives and he does NOT nor will he have possession of them. I am a Mom and a nurse and trust me I KNOW how quickly a accident can happen that's not a finger cut but devastating. That is NOT ok. Ever!! I wouldn't agree with playing with a knife if he was 13 or 16! That wasn't my point. Yes, he was energetic but that doesn't mean its ok for ADULTS who are supposed to be an example to call this child names EVER!!! I am NOT ok with that. I am amazed that people think its their right to call him names. Go through the comments. Im not talking about the ate sugar.. Im talking about names. Something is wrong when people think calling a child names is ok especially a child they DO NOT know! Seeing 10-20 minutes of his little life doesn't tell who he is. His cutting up and playing with his Dad isn't mouthy. Hes a CHILD trying to play with his Dad and impress people .. Maybe even show off some but that is something Im sure his parents address and to call him names is wrong! Period. Please re-read my comment. I did NOT advocate him having a knife at all. Your comment is misdirected.

WOW! Houston is really hyper today. He's pretty happy too. Good day on the homestead. Not saying in any way negative about Houston. He's a young and well taught. I get it. I miss seeing DJ on here. I love her to pieces. 💞 I'm thinking rabbits for new farm animal. Good garden fertilizer and food if desired.
