Have been up and down the Medway on a Motor Barge, two Inshore Minesweepers, two Fleet Tenders, an Admiralty M.F.V. two P20 fast patrol boats and the Kingswear Castle. We now live near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, so it's always nice to have a trip down the river without having to come down to Kent!👍

I'll be checking out the other films. I spent my first 15 months on a converted Catalina at Whitewall Creek back in 1952 before moving to Frindsbury.

We have a Historic old Brick Fort with a Moat on the Delaware just south of the City of Philadelphia. It was used to shoot the British. Ft Mifflin. Pretty cool. On the river near the airport. Look down and east when you take off or land, and a 10 minute drive from the airport

Sounds cool 👍 have you been able to explore it?

@@Medwaydroneexploration Explore, it's open to the public, though Limeys still get searched going in and out. Old habits since 1776 or so. It's that era

0:16 Kingsnorth electric power station. Note the jetty out into the river where coal ships berthed to unload their cargo via a conveyer belt inside the grey metal tube up to the plant . I used to drive down the jetty up to the ship to collect the rare English sailors going on shore leave and deposit them at a train station. I even took one Sailor to Kings Cross railway station in London as he lived in Scotland.

I just saw some Mudlarks find a Roman Pot in the mud in the banks in the beyond . So the peninsula might have had a Roman visitor 2000 years before

That's pretty cool I know the Saxon's were there a long time ago but not sure about the Roman's would be interesting to find out tho 👍😊

Seems almost any time somebody digs a hole in England they find 3500 years of occupation. I think it was Nicola in that vid

Apologies for the late reply, I must have missed your comment, yes this was edited using a phone app that wasn't very good, that's probably why
