DaRoost3R - Sovereign

THIS MEANS WAR, IRS! THIS MEANS WAR.
My HEAVY AF Tearout track "Sovereign" is now out on Dagger Vol. 1 by PRIMA APRILIS!
This one's a bit of an interesting one, as I incorporated a story into it. I will leave a summarized explanation of the dumb little story in this track in the pinned comments (if I remember to), and if I forget, feel free to remind me.
This is also a bit interesting as I put far less thought into the mixing of this track. While making this, I thought more about "How insane and loud can I make this track" and this is what I got. This is quite outdated and very brute mixing of mine, basically.

STORY SUMMARY: vvvv (Note: This story is not grounded in logic, it's mostly satire. None of it makes sense, but just pretend it does, it's not serious :D) In the universe of this track, the IRS was infiltrated by an unknown force hellbent on world domination and heavy tax impositions. They splintered off from the United States government and became their own Sovereign super-state, redirecting all U.S military powers to themselves and declaring war on all global powers. After countless months of brutal war, the IRS (which now stands for International Ruling State) came out on top, declaring themselves the sole leaders of Earth. Immediately, they restructured the global taxing system and imposed laws that made living miserable. Several regions of Earth were evacuated and used as industrial mega-zones for mining and refining resources. The remaining land was split into sectors and those split into districts. After just a year, riots and protests became regular occurrences, so the IRS developed a "peacemaking" weapon to rid the streets of those who defied. These weapons were known as drone units, heavily armed and armored autonomous robots that served as the simple, yet violent solution to protest. (This marks the point in which the track covered lore begins). One pollution filled night, the residents of Third District in Sector 9 rallied into one of the largest riots since before The Takeover. The local and reserve district police force were overpowered by the sheer number of protesters, and the tear gas supply at their hands was quickly and fruitlessly depleted. After receiving multiple emergency notifications, one of the management bots in the Third District Central Hub building alerted the un-named District Sovereign of the increasing threat of the new mob of protesters. The Sovereign ordered a single drone unit to be deployed, and the management bot scurried off to carryout the order. Just as expected, a drone unit smashed into the street in front of the protesters, who watched in terror as the robot powered up, activating and scanning the surroundings, instantly identifying the protesters. The drone unit carried out it's orders and started firing heavy rounds into the crowd without mercy. After the smoke cleared, nearly all who were protesting were killed, taken out by this terrifying weapon. The drone unit started getting ready to head out, but not before being interrupted by a single man, clad in power armor, yelling at the bot from a distance. "Excuse me, IRS. You sent me a letter asking me to pay my taxes. SIX. THOUSAND. DOLLARS!" The man yelled, as the drone unit turned towards him and scanned him, identifying him as a threat. "This is treason! You wanna FUCK me! This means WAR, IRS! This means WAR." A fearsome battle between the man and the drone took place, but the drone gained the upper hand, seemingly incapacitating the man, before being surprise attacked from behind and fired upon by the mans lasers. The drone unit sustains heavy damage and enters a docile recalibration state which is, unbeknownst to our hero, also a repairing state. The man knows the drone isn't done, but before attacking again, he meets the gaze of the remaining survivors of the protest, who look up to him, as he is the only thing that's stood a chance against the IRS since before The Takeover. Soon, the drone begins reactivating and the two lock in battle once more, the battle is once again extremely fierce, with the drone taking the upper hand most of the fight, but the man takes the edge in the end, smashing the faceplate of the drone and severely damaging it's core systems. The drone begins stuttering and glitching, not long before starting to dismantle and shut down. The drone mutters one last phrase "This is not the end" before losing power and collapsing to the ground. The story of what happens next is unknown, but it will be developed more at some point. Does any of this make sense? No. Should it? No. Will it? No. You can completely ignore the story if you'd like, this is just a little extra stuff I did for fun, it's not serious at all. (at least not yet 👀)
