To all those who complain about the judge letting him ramble on-----she is doing what she needs to do to (1) give him every reasonable opportunity to present his defense and (2) make as much of a record as she can to limit the chance of any conviction being overturned on appeal. I felt the same way. Then I realized the most important thing to be protected is protocol of the law. Prosecution. Even his lame attempts. The Prosecutor was a month ahead of him. He allowed himself to be played like a fiddle. He allowed his inflated sense of entitlement to screw himself. The Dude Brooks will never ever admit that. But it's the truth. A western statement. Give a wrestler enough rope they will hang themselves. But myself I come from Western NY. No horse, cow, sheep, goat, rabbit, llama, cat, dog, little pig stealing happens. we all choose where we end up, simply by the choices we make in life. Brooks is an intelligent man who chose to be where he is today. I can only imagine how he made his choice to kill and maim innocent people in the middle of a CHRISTMAS parade. I wonder if he has given one single thought to the fact he maimed and murdered innocent people in his stupid angry action. I am positive he does not take responsibility for his actions. He shows absolutely no remorse for his action in MURDERING young people, depriving them of the rest of their lives, devastating their families, and choosing to do that on a Holiday, marking EVERY FUTURE CHRISTMAS with a sad overtone for those families. He should be hanged on the town square on Christmas Eve and left there thru New Year’s Eve. And that would be his just deserts. At the very least he should never have another 🎉self-serving

@@RebeccaJayne5x5Yes, ‘I disagree’ wasn’t in response to him saying he’s not an idiot. But it sure fell into the debate at the perfect moment! It always infuriated me when he didn’t like the way the judge spoke to him ‘in that tone’. And he objected to how the prosecution ‘disrespected’ him. I taught elementary school for 30+ years. I had some bratty kids. And I had some boys that started the year off talking to me with no respect. I knew where the attitude came from, the same place Duh-RELL’s did. But Mr. TalkBackToTheTeacher got over that really fast when he discovered who was in charge in my classroom. Watching him I would think there were teachers that gave him ‘verbal smack downs’. No 3rd, 4th or 5th grade teachers took anything off him. He got a GED, so quit high school. Or he was expelled. Once he got to high school penalties for his mouth and actions got stricter. Nobody cried when he stormed out those high school doors for the last time. We know that.

In related news, last week the 23-yr-old shooter in the 2018 Parkland FL massacre plead guilty to 34 charges, including 17 counts of murder. The death penalty is still on the table for the jury to decide. He's already serving 25 years for crimes committed in the jail when assaulting an officer. At least he recognizes the futility of a trial.

Narcissists use the same ploys. 1. Exhaust their victims with endless, pointless argumentation.. 2. Change the subject when one of their arguments fall flat. 3. Accuse, accuse, accuse, act the victim. 4. Create unworkable situations. For example, heads I win tails you lose. 5. Get a rise, emotionally upset their target. Judge has done a remarkable job keeping her composure, keeping Brooks on point and refusing to be exhausted or emotionally manipulated by Brooks, which drives narcissists absolutely nuts as Brooks has demonstrated multiple times.
