Darrell Brooks wants nurse for cut, bruise on his arm

Darrell Brooks, the accused Waukesha Christmas parade attacker, said he didn't want to return to the courtroom until he received medical treatment for the bruise he has and the small cut. The judge said he can see the nurse during the lunch break at noon but a bruise doesn't warrant medical treatment immediately.

There's nothing a nurse can do for a bruise as nothing is needed. He clearly has full movement of the arm in question and as far as his paper cut goes, let him wash his hands and give him a bandaid. I think death penalty is a cop out and it’s a way people avoid accountability especially with such a serious crime like mass murder. A life sentence on the other hand forces him to think about what he’s done and if he doesn’t comply to rules and orders it will be met with brute force. He’s the defiant type and most of the time they are thrown into solitary confinement because nobody got time for that shit. If you’ve ever been in solitary for more than a week you’d know it’s one of the worse punishments anyone could ever experience. No more freedom, completely cut off from the outside world, and with nothing to do he will slowly lose his mind until he dies. Sounds better and more appropriate than a quick death to escape the consequences.

The bruise is self inflicted. The fact it's on his forearm and between his tattoos is a clear indicator he's either pinched or punched it. Forearm bruising is basically impossible to occur unless from an insect bite or pulling away from someone.

It’s very clear his hearing claim is total BS! He had no trouble hearing what they are saying when he is in the other courtroom. There were plenty of times he responded to what the judge was saying especially in this video when he had his back turned to the camera. He just uses that excuse to cause trouble with the proceedings. No doubt he will try to use that excuse for an appeal. But I have no doubt the appellate court will laugh in his face and will not even take up his appeal because the judge made sure he had no course for an appeal. I disagreed with the way she was so polite to him throughout the trial when all he did was make a mockery of the court and the trial. She could have been a lot more firm with him and told him to shut up and sit down and stopped him from letting him treat the court like a joke and she would have been well within her rights as a judge to do that. But she chose the path of being polite and seemed to hold his hands at times. She cut him a lot more slack then she would have any Attorny representing him. By allowing him to make a mockery of the court instead of admonishing him or telling him to shit up and sit down especially when he said are you asking me or telling me. Right then and there he was disrespecting her and she should have said I am telling you and she should have not said please so many times. Many times she cut him slack when he objected knowing it was clear she should have said overruled. A great analogy she acted almost like a mom to him throughout the trial. Most judges would have never allowed a tenth of that crap he did in their courts they would have shut him down in a heart beat. I truly believe both the judge and the prosecution were afraid of being called raciest if they were to do any of those things. They as much said it out loud many times throughout the trial at-least the DA did.

He tried to battle with nonstop bad faith arguments. The problem is that he knows better, and that makes it so much worse. He is the living embodiment of someone who can not see beyond himself. He can't begin to feel sympathy for anyone other than himself. Since he has no sympathy for anyone, I suggest you have none for him. He would run you down and then laugh about it while acting like a clown just as he did. He ran over dozens of people and killed 10. And then he's going to turn that inmate in and then he'll be known as a rat 🐀 No one likes a rat in prison and he'll be mercilessly bullied by other inmates. He'll become a target. He's going to hate his life until the day he dies! He deserves this and more! He has too big of an ego and mouth to shut up and keep his head down!

I agree I keep seeing people post that she's mediocre at best and that she's not a good judge which in my opinion is completely opposite to what she is she extremely professional she doesn't want a mistrial she's biting her tongue because she doesn't want there to be any chance that he may get to either appeal or mistrial
