This was the first island song my wife and I heard during our first trip to Hawaii in February 2019. We were on the Island of Oahu leaving Pearl to spend 5 days on the North Shore near Haleiwa for our final wind down of a 17 day trip. We had just disembarked from the 7 day cruise from Honolulu to the other big islands and were anxious to chill several days before going home to Oklahoma City. We had already spent 4 days on Waikiki Beach before the cruise. Once we loaded our food in the white rental Jeep for the week to our rental home on the north shore, we turned on the radio and this song was playing on the radio! It was surreal driving up the highway to the north shore listening to this song. No doubt this would be and is OUR Hawaiian Theme song, forever!

When I heard this song for the first time , I was seating in the car waiting for my girlfriend to come back from checking if the she locked the air bnb. It was our last day on the island and we were on our way to the airport and it started to rain. But that light gentle warm Hawaiian rain. Oh how I miss Hawaii 😢

Reminds me of my wife and I on the Big Island a few years ago. This song was predominant. The food .. the scuba ... the volcano .. the BEER! Paradise on earth.
