I love how he talks about Diana. Because it's so common for women in the media to only be noticed for their beauty rather than personality, and he really makes sure that people know he likes her for who she is. Also mentioning that he cares about her and is sorry for her breakup, because celebrities' feelings are often minimized when it comes to things like this.

i just love how he's so confident about who he is, and how his personality shines through here. he is a very good looking man, obviously, but his personality is what made me fall for him in the beginning, when i discovered him on starkid. & i also love that he's goofy, and a bit old fashioned when he talks. he used, darling, lovely, etc. i just go head over heels for his kind hearted & yet, ridiculous nature

[At first I hadn't seen that this video was so long, and this was supposed to be a quick breather (watching Darren speak or sing is me treating myself for actually getting my butt down to studying) while writing a paper that's due tomorrow FML] Now I've lost 20mins of being productive. But how well spent they were! Darren is such pleasure to listen to, even when he's NOT singing. What an eloquent, charming and thoughtful guy! Mad respect for his busy life, and hope all his endeavours do well!

He's amazingly eloquent and his answers are beyond clever. Plus, he manages to throw in a joke here and there and his humour is classy and natural. This isn't one of these strained interviews focusing on kissing and shallowness; this is enjoyable to watch despite (or rather, especially because of) the impromptu setting and overall simplicity of this interview. Great job.

"Dead Poet's Society look" omg I loved that movie :) I didn't actually think about it until then, but it really is. In interviews with Darren, the person interviewing him always references these obscure groups and movies and things, I wonder if Darren actually knows who they all are or if he's just like "yeah sure, hopefully that's a good thing".

@25ruby yes so the guys who plays the warblers do all the backing vocals for glee except for the warblers themselves, they lip sunc their parts, while the beelzabubs are the actual vocals for the warblers. Its definatly confusing
