Darren chris is filipino, perfect for the role of andrew whos also a filipino. Andrew cunanan kills gay men because he cant deal rejection. Gays in america were easy to dump their partners or their plaything. Andrew cunanan may be having an affair, or do envy versace. Filipinos love very deep, and envy. He literally grew up doing theater in San Francisco with a bunch of gay guys as friends/mentors, has an extremely open-minded family and friend group, and is clearly totally comfortable having a connection with the LGBTQ community considering most of the roles he's best known for so far are LGBTQ characters. Oh and also, yeah, he and his fiancee have been together for 8 years- since before he was ever even in the public eye enough to feel any pressure to "have a beard". So maybe just maybe the reason he hasn't come out is because, gasp, *he's straight* , as he has always openly identified ;) It really baffles me that people are soooo sure he's some deep in the closet case when he's probably one of the LEAST likely people to be in the closet. For one thing, it's quite uncommon in general in this day and age for gay celebrities to put up that much of a front. 20 years ago? Sure. But these days most celebrities who haven't "officially come out" yet simply decline to answer questions about their sexuality, or omit that information. And if someone WAS feeling that much pressure that they would feel like they need to put up appearances of being straight, they certainly would not be the person who is a vocal, committed ally of the LGBTQ community and has played numerous gay roles in their acting career. That doesn't even make logical sense. (And don't get me wrong, if it DID end up someday down the line that Darren came out, then good for him! I would never be one to be all "he lied to us!!!" But there's just no reason whatsoever to expect that that would be the case, and I'm getting real tired of people not respecting what *he himself* has said about how he identifies.)
