Darren Criss, The Muse - Michigan In Motion: WOLV-TV

As a sophomore at the University of Michigan, Darren Criss performed his original song, "THE MUSE" (acoustic version) on the college TV station's music show "Michigan In Motion" with host, Jake Serwer.
This was filmed January 27th, 2007 in Ann Arbor, MI and is a WOLV-TV production.

This was a college TV show and our mics sucked. We saw the mic gradually falling down and didn't want to step in the shot. Darren made a nice recovery.

When we taped this show during the last week in January, and conducted the interview, he was 19. A week later was his 20th b-day.

This was the shows pilot episode. We were doing the show live to the city of Ann Arbor and when the mic stand began to fall, we sort of just went with it rather than trying to fix it. Darren improvised very well. Would anyone like to see the sit-down interview with Darren from the show? He talks about college life (this is when he was about 19). We were in the same graduating class and I've never known a more talented dude. I agree... song should be on Itunes!
