Without Hronek, they can add a top 4, and they’re still not a true contender. They need Filip back AND add that D man. The problem is that they might not feel the loss that much short term, but long term they will. I wouldn’t touch Zadorov. There are better players in that price range.

My feelings there was a split in the locker room kind of like the same split when Horvat and Miller were not getting along and Horvat was traded in the end. Miller and EP40 are in the same boat and Management has taken EP40 side so hence Miller walking off the team and I dont blame him. And look how the Canucks are playing since Miller left EP40 is putting up points and Debrusk is scoring making Miller expendable Just my thoughts

I like Hoggy and think a lot of him. I would hate to see him go but im not sure he can get out of Tocchet dog house. Not sure how sustainable traiding players in his dog house is, so far kuzmenko, Sprong, Mikheyev and Potentially Hoggy. It isnt fair to blame him for Mikheyeve but this isnt very sustainable. Hoggy needs yo atleast bring a good return.

None of our players are on LTIR. They are doing this to try and build cap space. They are simply on IR so they don't count against the roster limit. If Demko is back soon and we send Siloves down we will be in good shape.

He's on a 'leave of absence', which appears (maybe) to be a mental health issue. We don't really know the issues ... could be something like depression, physical health, family issues, or something else. He wants to keep his privacy, the team supports that. There's no point speculating. We don't know. He'll be back if/when he's fit to play. Players are human and they get all the same issues as the rest of us. Knowing JT's desire and love of the game, it's not nothing to keep him on the sidelines. Hopefully he will be okay.

JT can’t be measured in stats alone. He’s a leader. He’s the kind of guy who can carry a team on his shoulders when they need it. Unfortunately their “franchise” player is not a leader.
