love ur reaction! i wouldn't call it "showdown" though bcoz they weren't trying to outdo each other (Darren taking the higher notes while Mori's doing the low registers) & it was an impromptu performance as they were just asked to do a duet by their fans (saw some comments saying they just rehearsed it backstage) ... love how they're clearly enjoying the performance 😍 btw, pls pls pls check out an old video of Mori performing with just a guitar and a mic: Morissette Amon - NOBODY'S PERFECT , this shows how down to earth she is and this was another live impromptu performance ..the video quality's not that good since it was just taken by one of her fans but surely it's worth watching! thank u!

Darren is like a younger brother to Mori...so dont be jealous! They're both products of The Voice PH and I can say right now, they're the most successful artists from the show. By the way, this duet is an impromptu performance. They just talked backstage their parts. No rehearsals at all. Darren bagged 6 awards that night, winning all his nominations and 7th for his fandom. Mori was also awarded as the Wish Female Singer of the year.

+Shay ur absolutely right, she hold back her voice maybe because she don't want to be compared again to darren which is better cos she has a unique sexy voice(I really love) and darren is also a great voice they're different in many ways and yet they're always compared, I really love maori and I won't compete with regarding that cos ur very cool with that, based on performance in this video, morisette really want to just harmonize with darren for everyone to enjoy they're performance rather than exploding belt that's so annoying to hear... well, I hope my opinion will not harm anyone.. ^^

Darren is older thats why hes taller. its hard to do duet with Darren even with people with really high voice. She was a bit winded. thats why ahe made the audience participate. thats what singers usually do to get a bit of a break. As to performance they both did excellent. Ib terms of voice Darren has a higher voice it seems because he was singing the same notes here with Morisette in fullvoice while she was doing more of a headvoice or falsetto

what real artists like about darren is he knows when to have a second voice and a harmony blended well........... take the case his duet to gary valenciano, jed madela, sarah geronimo, sue ramirez, krystel fulgar, martin nievera, lani misalucha and many others........... i think you are not a fan of him coz if you are REAL darrenatic, then you know his capability that he knows how to blend and have second voice if it is necessary.............. check his performances on tv and other shows especially his concerts...............
