I am elated that Darren is back. He is such a lovely person, and I am happy that he is living openly in his truth. My biggest wish for him would be for him to get more exposure in the US. You called him a national treasure, but I would love for him to become more international. Many people in America have no idea that he had a solo career, after Savage Garden. I love him. Always! I’m glad he’s always been so dignified about savage garden music and remained true to the music. I actually am one of the few that don’t want the band to get back together. I don’t think they were really friends and it would be sad to force them together just for us. Their music is still there and always will be but to put them together again just wouldn’t work anymore.

I'm not being rude I think Savage garden has great music hell I'm from the 90s but I don't really get the whole people saying they love him? I think hes a really good guy and has a real passion for music. He's really talented and I wish I knew exactly what I wanted to do in life as clear as he does. But I see a bunch of comments of people really really head over heals for the guy and Savage garden I don't understand it? Is it because the lyrics really really meant something to you of his songs or is it nastalgia? Girls really seem to throw themselves at people and say they love them when they haven't even hangout with him and socialized with the guy for even 1 night lol..... Woman are pretty emotional... Don't see guys act this way

People have to realise that Savage Garden was a product of the late 90s and if Darren and Daniel started working as a band again it just wouldn’t sound the same. It would be nice though if Daniel Jones helped Darren every now and then on his solo career with any new tracks that may come out in the future

It would sound the same because Darren’s singing voice sounds exactly the same as in the SG days and his songwriting is just as amazing. His talking voice changed though. Definitely less Australian sounding and more Californian now.

Yea you're right! It would sound more like music of now and it would sound nothing like Savage Garden. As much as i love Savage Garden, i think it's time to mourn it as a band because it's never coming back. Can't bring the past into the present.

Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but I think hell would have to freeze over before that would ever happen. Not that I disagree, but it ended for a reason. I have seen so many interviews about this with Darren, and there is no going back for the both of them. Daniel wanted out of the music business and is happy and successful now just raising his family. It was amicable, but could be compared to a bad marriage where people just grow apart, and aren't on the same page anymore.

In fact in interviews Daniel had a more Australian accent even if he settled from the UK 😂 as for Darren his voice sure has remained great but the industry has changed. It is now extremely limited and unoriginal, dominated by big acts from the USA. I doubt the two of them would get the freedom they were allowed in the 1990s when their label sent them to Sydney for months to work on songs for the first album. They were a product of those times. These days if they signed a record deal they'd have to work surrounded by a whole team of producers and songwriters. And you'd never get the quality and freshness of their 1990s albums.

It's so weird that he is still being asked about the return of savage garden. He had so much great solo music, much better than SG songs, he is an incredibly talented performer and songwriter and savage garden is Darren!
