As an ex fighter all be it lower level... You never pull out of a fight unless your seriously injured n can't fight... I had a unlicensed fight years ago and I hadn't been in the gym for a few months.. I had been on the drink etc but I took it cos I was skint at the time... I was in changing room praying for strength... Was on fight 5 then they said I'm on first... But yeah I walked to the ring... Was good for 1 round n then got a beating... Fair play to my opponent but yeah I'd never of pulled out.. You don't do that n shame on Tommy for doing that to Darren till... It was agreed n signed... Just fight lad... 😁💯💯

So much non sense in this interview, both from Darren and from the interviewer. 1. I dont think Tommy is afraid of loosing to Darren. In that case he wouldnt have signed at all. 2. It was not only what was said in the press confernece, it was the multiple interviews following the press conference where Darren kept saying, convincingly, that he would revert to MMA skills during their fight if he was loosing. Tommy probably felt it would not be a proper boxing fight and instead a freak show, which is not what he signed up for. Understandable from one perspective. And the comparison of Tommy joking about elbowing KSI is not a decent comparison - that was very different in several ways. Darren should get responsibke Ans realize how his own behaviour and how that fucks things up. 3. “Jake is the real boxer” - Tommy beat Jake and has been boxing his whole life, so what are you talking about? So damn biased, both of them - stick to the facts and stop talking crap.
