Penalties, soft play, too much room for man to man, and not enough toughness and tenacity. That's what lost us game's. Dan Quinn was trying to build culture on likability. Sometimes you need someone to be unlikable, but a leader. To show you what's what, and no bs. Technique, versatility, instinct, and massive desire to be the best, no matter what it takes, however it takes, every down, every play. No matter what. Zimmer could implement that. "Hot Boyz", to angry men. Fuck Boyz. We need men. We need real leaders of men. To sacrifice whatever it takes to win. To be the example. No excuses. No weakness. Do your job. To the upmost ability. Play in, play out. Period. That's how you start to become the best.

Darren Woodson was the prototype! A safety who could cover in the slot, but still deliver linebacker type support against the run! The league should be embarrassed he's not in the HOF, yet!

A new D.C. won't change a thing. Jerry never addresses holes in the defense caused by underachievement or injuries. He just stands pat instead of adding or getting help. Thus the D.C. is stuck trying to fix things without any help. Look what Arizona did to Dallas.

I’m pulling for Zimmer at this point….for two reasons, 1) he’s not a players coach and even though DQ did some nice things here, towards the end, he was just too soft on the players, we need a tough coach. 2) he’s had some nice success against K.Shanahan and that goes a long way, imo, because that’s still the main team to get past in the NFC.

Zimmer is a drill sergeant. However, he would be someone the players fear if he was signed for 5 years. They know he is a lame duck like MM. I rather they go after a Rex Ryan who they would love to play for.

Once Mike Zimmer starts busting their butts you’ll hear soft players begin to complain. “ Oh.. he’s not in tune w/ young players.. he talks & coaches too hard!. Get ready.. the soft ones will cry first. These guys are more concerned w/ their brands than winning believe that!. DQ babied these boys and that’s what they fold like a cheap suit in the big games. We have a soft culture and Mike Zimmer won’t tolerate it!.
