Alright, so Corazon’s deal is that he ate the calm-calm fruit, which makes it so that he can create areas of complete noise cancelation… so not really combat-oriented unfortunately. And while corazón isn’t really a lightweight, he doesn’t have the haki or versatile devil fruit to compete with the family one on one. As a character though, he is a fan favorite because of, well, his character 👍🏼

the reason law survives so much is his fruits the op op which basically allows him to turn a area in a certain radius into his own operation table. law uses this to basically fix up any wounds inside his body basically healing himself since laws a expert surgeon. law surviving the 9 shots from dolfy tho was because he switched places with a bystander in the building so dolfy shot the bystander instead of law. the op op fruit is said to be one of the strongest paramecia devil fruits tho its usage drains laws stamina massively.

Well, from what we saw, he can do Marionette, string needle, string spike, bird cage, fly with string, string clone, and string stitch. When he cut off laws arm, he had hardened the string. Plus he can coat his stings and body in haki(the black metal).

He demonstrated that he could snipe somebody with a full on bazooka or cannon and make no noise, which is handy. And he had a decent amount of combat ability to be at the position he was in the Navy, but he wasn’t on his brother’s level at all. Corazon was a fan favorite because of his good-hearted nature, his conviction, his goofiness and the father / son relationship he developed with Law.

So it seems that the way these fruits work is that once you consume one fruit and gain its powers, you're apparently unable to consume another devil fruit and also for some reason you lose the ability to swim. Craziest thing is that you don't even have to eat the entire fruit to gain this power, you could just nibble a piece of it and so long as you swallow it that power's yours for the rest of your life.
