You dwell in each soul. darśana dō ghanaśyāma, nātha mōrī aṁkhiyāṁ pyāsī rē maṁdira maṁdira mūrata tērī In each temple there is your Icon. phira bhī nā dīkhē sūrata tērī Yet, I do not see your true form. yuga bītē, nā āī milana kī pūranamāsī rē Long eras pass, but the full moon night of our union has not come. darśana dō ghanaśyāma, nātha mōrī aṁkhiyāṁ pyāsī rē dvāra dayā kā jaba tū khōlē Taking pity on us when you open the door paṁcama svara mēṁ gūṁgā bōlē Even a mute person will speak in a sweet tone. aṁdhā dēkhē, laṁgaṛā cala kara paṁhucē kāśī rē Then a blind man will see, a non walking person will walk and reach Benares the holy city. darśana dō ghanaśyāma, nātha mōrī aṁkhiyāṁ pyāsī rē pānī pī kara pyāsa bujhāūṁ I can possibly drink water and quench my thirst nainōṁ kō kaisē samajhāūṁ But how can I comfort my eyes āṁkha micaulī chōṛō aba tō You have to stop this hide and seek game, mana kē vāsī rē O dweller in my heart!
