In class Dog: test() { print(super.color); // "brown" print(color); // "Black" } i.e. there are actually two fields, not one.

If the compiler don't even look for the parent method eat(), then why its important to have the same return type as parent class?

For some times there is no eat method in child class then it goes to parent eat method

It's used to override the methods in children class Like animal have brown color but you can make a method which is in dog class and override having same method name and same parameters It's upto you to write override above method
