This is the first MKIII review I've seen so far, and it looks really cool! I love how it switches from manual semi-auto to electronic full auto, it's a very clever way to make the semi feel responsive. I'm not too sure why it seems so bulky at the front, but the general aesthetic is really nice. Thanks so much for the review! 💙🧡🖤 P.S. I'm loving the snack stock, the "Snock"?

Strange. OoD's video was theorizing a different Cause for the jamming, relating to darts getting pulled backwards. I wonder if there are multiple ways it can jam on Talons.

Yes there are multiple ways. What we fixed was the pusher issue. The pusher gets stuck in the forward position because it is being pinched by the feed lips. We experienced a different issue as well where on occasion a dart would be pulled BACKWARDS into pusher mech, but we didn't have that issue again after our fix, but we also spent some time sanding and polishing the under side of the pusher because it had a burr and some other imperfections.

I have at least 6 lipo modded flywheelers... seeing the xt 60 on this sold me. performance may take a hit but not having to buy batteries is worth it. edit: do you think you could shave some material from the talon feed lips? for those not wanting to open the blaster.

We tried that, and it caused the next dart in the mag to get pulled back into the firing mech. :\

I saw a comment on Coop772’s review on this blaster saying that another easy fix for the talon problem is to just use the Out of Darts mag adapter instead of the included one, though I can’t confirm whether this actually works or not.

Maybe they left room for 180 motors to give the option of dropping some in? I know $130 is a lot compared to a lightly modded stryfe. And I already have so many old modded flywheelers that far outperform it, but… I still really want one.

Cut Pusher Track Rails I'm a little worried about cutting the rails, since don't darts also slide against it? (It protrudes between the magazine lips I assume because DZ wanted the darts to inject from a consistent position independent of different magazines.) Does the cut edge present the chance of snagging the darts or scratching them?

We fired at least 50 mags after the fix and never had another jamming issue. I can't say its impossible, but at least incredibly unlikely

8 x 1.2 > 2s Lipo, right? 8 x 1.5 > 3s Lipo (at < 75%), right? Maybe it can handle a 4s? (obvs big delta in current)

You never really get 1.5volts with AA's when running a motor load. They have incredibly voltage sag. You really only get 1.2-1.3 volts in the real world, even at full. 9.5-10.5 volts is the most you'll ever see under heavy load with 8x AA's. 3S batteries typically cut off at 10 volts. They run 11.1 volts nominal and 12.6 volts at full. You COULD run this on 4s, but you'll likely get worse performance, as running at higher and higher RPMs hits a wall where you're damaging the darts more than you're propelling them. Kinda like in a car when you are drag racing, you don't want to do a burnout off the line, you want to grip as much as possible.
