Count Dooku is very underrated imo. He is very strong with the force an probably the best duelist of his era. If he would have been as young as anakin in revenge of the Sith, he could have stomped everyone that opposed him

Dooku wins, he is the best duelist. With the lightsaber, Tyranus, is stronger than Palpatine that was scared after the fight between Dooku and Yoda, Darth Plagueis (Palpatine master) thought that Dooku was able to beat Sidious.

@@scoutbricks4603 Being trained by Sidious and Yoda is not a valid reason of why Dooku would be "better" than Maul. Maul had a high pain tolerance and threshold, he was able to tank force lightning from Sidious himself. In SoD, after being tortured by both Sidious' and Tyranus' lightning, Maul told his Mandalorian soldiers that he had become indifferent to pain, which supports his high pain tolerance notion. You know that Maul trained a killing machine, Savage Opress, who did better than the Jedi Council against Sidious, and thing I just said was confirmed by Filoni in an interview or statement of some sorts. Sidious wasn't toying with the Jedi Council, meaning he couldn't be toying with Savage via his superiority to the Jedi Council strike team. (Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, Saesee Tiin.) That clearly shows that Maul trained Savage well. In SoD, Maul was able to take on both Mace Windu and Aayla Secura together and called it a fair fight, and in a Canon comic, Dooku was only able to stalemate Mace, and I believe he was the on to start running. Another instance of Maul's superiority is versus Quinlan Vos from DD (Dark Disciple). Dooku fought Vos and lost badly, and the fight was perfectly fair, and let me tell you, Quinlan Vos won due to his unpredictable style, and guess what? Maul is the master of the most aggressive and unpredictable lightsaber form of all time in the Star Wars universe, no matter the continuity. Also, in official TCW fan art, we see Maul and Quinlan Vos dueling, and we can see Maul on equal grounds with Quinlan, presumably because they both don't have the "unpredictability" weakness/advantage. With all my evidence, I can say that Maul is superior to Dooku. I even have more evidence to prove Maul superiority towards Dooku.

This was amazing and I can understand why Maul won because for everyone who says Dooku wins this is Clone Wars Maul who was powerful enough to fight his master Palpatine but other than that this stop motion was very underrated 👍

@@SMCommotion I mean it kinda hard to say who wins but I believe dooku would win because he was able to keep up with Yoda and fought Anakin multiple times during the clone wars and live to talk about it until close to the ending of the war where Anakin fought him one last time and killed him but maul has good feats as well dueling sidious and living to talk about it later maul killed a lot of Jedi but the problem I see with him fighting dooku is maul get overconfident like what he did with obi wan when he fought him I believe he still get overconfident in duels compared to dooku who is calm and is one of the best lightsaber duelist. And also maul lost to Ahsoka Tano who I believe couldn't hold her own against dooku. And another problem I have with maul beating dooku is he need help to fight obi wan in clone wars he constantly had Savage helping him in duels against obi wan while dooku was taking on Anakin and obi wan at the same time and doing it in style as well. But maul also showed great strength in the force like in final season of the clone wars when he was just destroying clone trooper without a lightsaber and taking down the republic ship as well. But I also loved your stop motion and I thought the ending was also great as well it just a really hard decision to say who wins but I believe dooku would win plus he would also have hatred for maul for killing qui Gon which would make him go further into the dark side in the fight with maul as well

Maul is confirmed a better duelist than Dooku, has more raw force power which makes him stronger, and he is physically stronger. The only thing I would change is Maul using tutaminus cause he doesn't use that. I would make him flip out of the way.

He isn't that list is a popularity list as confirmed by the author. Dooku wins against Maul in a good fight. Considering he was stated to he a near equal (not in prime) after being tired against Yoda speaks volumes. Sidious, Yoda's equal stomped (whilst toying) Maul who had help by Savage so I'd say the Count takes this one. To suggest Maul gave Sidious a good fight is debunked by the notion that the Website itself said Sidious toyed after Savages death aswell as the fact Sidious let both go at the start of the fight. Maul is way too weak for Dooku and on top of that Dooku hates Maul for killing Qui Gonn so I think he would fight maul without anything held back.
