Robert Erlandson If I remember there was a comic where he fought with his regrets for a bit. Some noblewoman managed to make him hallucinate padme's ghost. It was pretty intense.

Well when he's in his chamber I think he dreams of Pademae and himself when they was married. Yes I think after Anakin became Vadar he's like thought oh great my reason to have power was to save my Pademae. Now I'm stuck serving Darth Sidious my father. Yup George Lucas confirm it was in the script but left out. Palpatine's genes with help from Plagueis created Anakin to bring down the Jedi. So Luke and Leia are Palpatine's grandchildren. And had a Cyclops son and he had a non Cyclops son named Ken Palpatine who is Palpatine's great great grandson. I think that's where Rey comes from.

Yes he did very much regret turning to the dark side and I know one must be saying " if he did regret joining the dark side how Come he still serves sidious " well like vader said in return of the Jedi that he must serve his master since sidious rebuild him with the crappiest technology sidious made sure Vader was kept in line and didn't challenge him

Tbh, I feel like he does. I feellike he misses Padme. And his children. He had that light left in him. That's how Luke saved him. Luke still knew his his father wanted to be good again. That's my way of seeing it of course, everyone has their opinions.
