I enjoyed your video! I've trained and taught martial arts for most of my life, so I know about training and the importance of not thinking. I have been training traditional archery for just a few years, with recurve and longbows, both right hand and left hand. For me, the meditative aspect of archery is most important--the reason why I find archery so enjoyable, so useful in my life.

I love it my friend. I feel everything your saying. When I went to thumb release I just fell in love with the purely instinctive way of shooting and the pure meditation archery gives me. Really glad I found your channel! Shoot straight my friend!

It has been many years from when I last used a longbow. Thank you for the great explanation on training, focus, and having your mind in the right place. Keep up the great content.

I played A grade tennis and it was all instinctive but when I tried to play golf and had too much time to think about it I was hopeless. Same here with archery, don't overthink it. I just noticed that you are based in Newton Abbot. I was born in Newton Abbot but left for Australia with my parents in '67. Wow, 57 years ago. Where have those years gone.

You've just got another subscriber. Love your calm mannerisms. I'm a pretty high strung guy and instinctive shooting is the purest form of archery. I'm Sioux so I feel very connected to archery and feel it's in my blood but archery is in everyone's blood

Thank you so much for this video. I cannot aim when I loose arrows. But I am also not insanely accurate either.
