Most of the moor is too high/exposed for trees and/or rock too close to soil surface or waterlogged .

Good video and beautiful place, but do you know what pisses me off? I've recently been volunteering with the National Trust and it is more destructive than productive. How can one say that using fuel powered tools in order to 'conserve' and 'preserve' the natural environment is a good thing. It's not.

Nice to see you "bigged" up the developers who do not build for local people at all,they build houses that are only affordable for people from the south east and beyond .Most young local people have to move out to be able to afford somewhere basic to live Good of you to minimalize WIDECOMBE FAIR and call it just a "local fair " .Just goes to show where there priorities really lie

"Developers" are responsible for some of the worst acts of systematic cultural vandalism in the South West in the last 40 years, in fact ever since their friends in the "greed is good" and "sod you Jack" "second home" community were given licence to pollute the (my) West of England.
