I have this conversation frequently with my mom who came from a two parent household..dad as well ( though not college educated until later in their lives). I had no other role models but married couples in the 80s..90s. Very interesting study

how about we take "contracts" out of raising children all together. "it takes a village". intergenerational housing, raising kids in community. the Social Contract of in the preamble of the constitution "to our posterity" : "WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form A MORE PERFECT UNION, establish JUSTICE, insure domestic TRANQUILITY, provide for the COMMON defence, promote the general WELFARE, and secure the Blessings of LIBERTY to ourselves and our POSTERITY, ..."

additionally since uneducated men seem to be a huge problem ... we need educated men. actual good men educated in knowledge and emotion. basically... down with the patriarchy. down with the anti-intellectual push from the right.

re: the DOD.... they need more cannon fodder... so they have a breading program.. that's not surprising at all. Hitler has silver spoon programs too. the GI bill made sure soldier coming home felt safe enough to send their kids back into the fold. it is all about the meat grinder. that is not a surprise at all.
