My Sequel 33 was a first shot bullet hole too. Darton does a great job putting these bows together at the factory.

My vintage compound bows are within 42in/44in/46in length. I like having real long bow limbs and thick grip and thick risers!!! I have 3 separate vintage compound bows

The limb tuning feature is smart. I used to work for a Bow company and was asking for something like that in 2020-21. We were having a hell of a time getting the right limb deflections to control cam lean and that would've made it so much easier. Instead we just stopped measuring cam lean.🙄 Would like to see a integrate type system on the Berger hole side of the bow to make torque tuning easier too. With it mounted on the back you dont get to move your rest and have to try to move the sight or skip torque tuning. 🤷

Got a 33 on order....80# folds of honor...can't wait!
@vaughnprecision10 күн бұрын
@@ericp2881 that’s awesome.! My son loves his 33 and he shoots it well. I wanted the folds of honor but nobody had any in stock and I couldn’t get a date of when they would be back in stock so I bought the one I did. I’m curious on how you’ll like the 80lb version. I was on the fence, I almost bought that one to.

Great video! Very informational. Looking at this bow it’s amazing the tuning you can achieve without a press.. I have always shot Hoyt however I may be looking into this new Darton.

This is a bow I want to shoot!

@@mat_in_texas I can highly recommend at least trying it. I just got back from the range and got it all dialed in. Crazy accurate bow, smooth and fast. I’m very pleased so far.

@ What I wish I could do is get this and an Elite Exault 35, set them up identically and test them side by side. Im guessing I’d love them both.

I would really like to know about the valley. I hunt and like a big valley and don't want a cam that might take off on me. Can you give your impression of the dwell ?
@vaughnprecision10 күн бұрын
@@stevethedude8740 my opinion of the valley is somewhat in the middle. I’ve had some bows that want to take off with the slightest movement while others you almost feel like you’ve got to push the string forward to get it moving out of the valley. This bow is in the middle of that. It doesn’t dump off in to the valley like some bow do, it’s more of a glide in to the valley. The valley feels like it’s a couple of inches deep if that makes any sense.

Did something happen with your local dealer that you and your son bought your Sequels from? Why did you purchase the Sequel 35 on line? I ask because I’m a Darton dealer as well.
@vaughnprecision10 күн бұрын
@@papabearsstoves I found a deal online that saved me a fair amount of money. My local dealer isn’t a huge fan of Darton either, they seem to push the big brand names more. Not knocking other brands, but I just fell in love with Darton.

Don't trust that groove on the shelf for center shot, PSE has had that for years, horizontal and vertical, and it's not exactly correct. Best to measure.
@vaughnprecision9 күн бұрын
@@kairos_01-d5d ya when I measured it to 13/16 it’s not perfectly in line with the center shot, but it is extremely close.
