These 2 men won the world title 21 times in the 33 years between 1980 and 2013. They also have 30 world title final appearances between 1980 and 2015. What an incredible accomplishment. I won't hear a bad word said against these 2 legends. Respect to them both.

darts was a piss up game back then they have water on the table now not beer and spirits and fags. 90 averages was the elite then, could be world champion with a 85 average. it was taylor that took the game to another level, 100 averages were not heard of or even thought possible before taylor started whopping them in, then when other guys were throwing 100 averages taylor started throwing 105s and 110s. Taylor had a huge influence in how the PDC is today, and for that reason why there is so much money in the game to be won, which makes guys like MVG play the game. If wasn't for these two here MVG prob would never of played the game as it would be no where near as popular and have no where near the prize money it has. MVG at his best is quite incredible, but for consistency I take taylor. how many finals has MVG lost in already? 3-4? I only recall taylor losing in 4 world championship finals over like 30 years. and winning 16x, what does MVG have 3 wins? He got a very very long road ahead of him to be considered a great, but for talent of course he is the best at the moment we know, But Peter wright is the world champion he smashed MVG few weeks ago. So he isn't as dominant as Taylor use to be.
