Darvin Ham gets blamed. DLo gets blamed. Reaves gets blamed. The Nuggets had 4 turnovers. The Lakers had 12 turnovers, 7 of the 12 turnovers were from Lebron and he gets no blame for this loss. It's mind boggling. The sports media has truly brainwashed people.
@youngmyth6 ай бұрын
Denver had 14 points off 12 lakers turnovers while the lakers had 8. At less than 1 point per turnover, I’d say Lebron’s turnovers are not the reason they lost. He also probes a lot in game 1s to see what the defence is doing so I wouldn’t get into a fit about TOs. The lakers lost mostly because of second chance possessions (offensive rebounds) and efficient 3pt shooting in key moments. The reason the game was still close at the half is simply because the nuggets had extra possessions despite them shooting worse in the first half. Those things can be cleaned up.
@treywagner13736 ай бұрын
Young myth flamed you 😂
@jtsholtod.796 ай бұрын
@@youngmyththat's not how points off turnovers work (you think the Lakers can score 14 points off of 4 turnovers, what, with a bunch of 4-point plays?). It's the other way around, and if you didn't know that, it renders pretty much everything else you say moot. Seven turnovers are awful by any standard, and if the Lakers had instead kept possession and scored on a handful of them, the game would have been much closer. LBJ deserves a lot of criticism in this game.
@youngmyth6 ай бұрын
@@jtsholtod.79 yes I flipped that around by mistake. Lakers had 12 turnovers and it cost them 14 points. Whereas the Nuggets’ turnovers cost them 8. It’s pretty much less than 1 point per turnover so I’ll maintain my case that Lebron’s TOs weren’t suicidal. I’d argue the offensive rebounds are worse since really that’s a mental lapse on box outs.
