Passing the ball, setting up team mates in the 6, dropping deep to collect are all typical striker behaviour nowadays. A striker with raw talent, Great work ethics, fine attitude, and speed does not make one a play maker. Gundugan De Bryne Firmino Muller these are true play makers. Muller-Lewandowski were an unstoppable duo second only to Son & Kane. But i understand your label as compared with Haaland.

I like to go to fbref every now and then to look at underlying statistics and Nunez' are world-class. Only a matter till he catches up to them with goals and assists. Same for Salah btw.

There's so much to his game that positively impacts on how Liverpool play . If he and the other forwards can be more clinical Infront of goal then we'll be back in business in no time . his performance against us at Anfield last season show that he 100 % can be clinical, just needs to put it all together, he got the pace , the workrate and the ability to create chances already sorted . Nunez will be immense next season .

I’m a Benfica fan, so I know i’m very well When he came to my club, he did a similar first season to this first one in Liverpool. The preasure in Benfica is high and he didn’t score goals so started to lose confidence in front of goal, but he was making a lot of assists The next one he explode. He is not perfect, but he is a beast and has a lot of potencial. No matter how bad the team is playing he will be always a treat to the other team. He has that “big game” aura and is work rate is out of this world for a “striker”. Liverpool fans, just trust the process. The season has gone bad, but is not is fault alone. Yeah I fondly remember the first couple months of his 1st season at Benfica where he and our other new foward Waldschmidt were playing as if they've known each other for years yet not even talking the same language. Just like now, Nunez also looked like a very poor finisher but he would press high and create many chances for Waldschmidt. He'll always miss some big chances but I believe next season he'll start showing what makes him so dangerous as a striker
