I wonder if the Moti Mahal still exists. We used to go there in the 1950s. It was a kind of super dhaba with exquisite food. They had live qawaali music and parking a car then was no problem. A whole tandoori chicken cost Rs 5 throughout the 1950s, there was no inflation, and we paid with silver rupees. For a birthday treat we children got a chicken each. Ahh.., those were the days.
