I just wish for once she would sing her songs like they sound on the record....hey not griping i appreciate vamping and variation as much as the next guy...but then i notice once the other guitar player chimed in she picked it up a bit and got going more....she seems to waver a bit too much when its just her and her guitar........not judging...i'm a big fan....just saying...

Oh dear, I was looking forward to that, but it was super cringey...they both sing the song so differently and she totally strayed even from her own album version, and messed up the lyrics or the order or the timing or something that really threw him off then...a real shame, cos it could have been perfect if they'd had more time to practice it properly.

Very gracious of Ricky Lee to let Darryl be on stage and sing that with her... its very clear that Darryl is second fiddle to the Lady who wrote and composed it and he shuffles awkwardly and humbly as he waits for direction on his inclusion.... Ricky is definitely the one in control of tempo and delivery and so she should be - ITS HER SONG !!!

The idea of a duet is to harmonise and complement each other. I’m a fan of them both, but frankly it was a train wreck. I know it’s her song, but it came across like it was his, and she didn’t know the words. I’m glad I saw her concert in London in 1979 when she was great.

@@stacyhosking76 Thats just not true at all.. She murderd it.. Ive written many songs , If i messed it up that bad it dont matter who wrote it.. She cant sing.. Would not even get thru idol top 100.. It be a big know.. If you think what she's doing is good.. Your one tone deaf.. It's totaly off key no pacing singing in parts she should not. Poor Daryl .. He wrote many great songs and is a great singer.. My uncle was his guitar player.. So give me a break.. Are you being for real..

If that were true, then Horses used to be a good song, but became a bad song. Nah, she just can't sing anymore. It's not her choice to sing it this way - she lost her range and control and she's just trying to survive the song. Happens to a lot of older people.
