I know the donnie shippers keep saying it's platonic, more of a brother/sister or bff thing but....the brutal raw protectiveness Daryl has exhibited towards Carol & the way Carol was always willing to sacrifice anything to make sure Daryl was ok. Then that dream.....Henry, Daryl & Carol together in THEIR home. I know Carol deeply cared for Eziekiel but he wasn't in the dream. Sophia had been dead for years. Carol was dreaming of a safe, happy life with who she loves the most. It is more than platonic but I think they both knew that had they spoke the truth to each other that they wouldn't have been able to go out and do what they needed to do for their people. Also all those that they knew who had a deep love for someone else had it torn away in devastating ways. I think both Carol & Daryl feared that. They both knew if one of them lost the other it would have ended the other and if it happened after they expressed a deeper love for each other then the other would truly have been a walking dead.

OMG I missed this one. I AM SO SORRY BECAUSE CARYLLLLLL. I am so sad they had to part, but so glad we had them while we did. I think when the spinoffs come to an end next year, they will be converge into one story and end with them back at the start with Carol in tow. I seriously can't imagine they won't get her back for the very very end. If they miss that opportunity then I'll riot.

I hope so. I love that idea. The end of the series did give me hope that they will do everything they can to give these characters a good ending.

I cry everytime I see this because daryl and carol are alot like my friendship with my best friend Sarah. We always joke that me and her are daryl and carol because she surprised me for my birthday and I ran up and hugged her like daryl did with carol after terminus. Me and her have been through alot together just like daryl and carol. She's my best friend

I feel torn apart a bit because of this 'You're my best friend' thing but well, even though - I still think that Carol needs to understand what she truly wants. I mean, Ezekiel is also really really nice but WELLLLLLLLLL Daryl... her dream... idk, I enjoy both Ezekiel and Daryl, whatever makes Carol happy
