Michael 'Khel' Pangilinan is one of the best male singers in the Philippines.. (first singer who sang intro), please listen to his rendition of 'Perfect' and 'Rainbow' (originally sung by Southborder band) on the Wish bus.. Bugoy Drilon is also one of the most talented artists in the performance (although I personally think he is overshadowed a bit).. please watch Bugoy Drilon 'One Day' (Matisyahu) on the Wish bus.. thank you for informative input as vocal coach... Daryl Ong and Katrina Velarde are as you know.. top vocal acrobats and wizards comparable to the top singers of other countries.

@@jamescurfman3284 , I don't entirely think he got shafted.. more like overshadowed.. he is a beast in his own right.. he just decided to contribute by not becoming too loud.. in a group environment.. not everyone needs to show off.. its the little things that make the music come alive.. BuDaKhel work great together feat. Katrina, who is so versatile that she can pretty much sing any song and make it her own without disrespecting the original artist rendition. The modern version of 'One Sweet Day' is perfect homage to the original sung by Boyz 2 men and Mariah Carey.

Yes, Daryl did the vocal arrangements for this - same as his other productions on his channel. He is currently releasing episodes of him reacting to reactors reacting to his music videos. The first episode was for this cover. He talked about how this cover came about. I don't know when he'll be putting in the English subtitles, though. Katrina toured as a backup singer to Gary Valenciano, after she participated in a singing competition as part of a girl group where he was a judge. You can see them sing "Spain" together "@ The Town Hall". Also, Katrina's duet with Sam Mangubat on "I Turn To You" is very good with its harmonized runs, as is her cover of "Reflection". Her "Impersonating Singers 3 (Burn)" shows another one of her talents.The first person who sang was Michael "Khel" Pangilinan. He has many songs on the Wish Bus, including "Rainbow" which also highlights more background vocalists. Bugoy Drilon also has songs on the Wish Bus.

Yeah, Kat was really channeling her very best Mariah that day. Something else that is REALLY amazing to me about this video is that Katrina had lost her sister just a couple of months before recording this song. Considering what the lyrics are... HOW did she get through it? She vlogged behind the scenes, it's on her channel. She seemed happy and was joking around (except while they were singing). I don't know HOW she got through that day at all, let alone having a sense of humor. She's SO STRONG and she is SO PROFESSIONAL!!! I love her. She deserves the whole world.
