M-am nascut in Timisoara si Banat este minunat.Un loc in care au trait romanii cu nemtii,ungurii si sarbii la un loc. In Banat ne intelegem mai bine cu ei decat cu fratii romani din Oltenia si Moldova.Pentru ca am crescut impreuna si avem aceleasi obiceiuri.Religia Ortodoxa sau catolica e aproape la fel.Nu au fost diferente care sa ne indeparteze unul de altul.

Asa este... sate curate... frumoase... pline de viata... trenurile incarcate cu oameni care munceau in orase la intreprinderi mari... duminicile centrele pline de oameni... chiar si acea munca facuta la cimp era frumoasa... !!! Vai mi e dor de acel trecut al copilariei... si acel dor de satul natal

Ich als Tiroler durfte beiDonauschwaben aufwachsen, Ja das hat mich sehr positiv beeinflusst .Sie mussten aus Banat flüchten, ich liebe ihre Mentalität, ihren Fleiß, ihre lustige Art, Ja ich möcht mal dorthin die ihre Alte Heimat einmal nur sehn

Meine Mutter stammte aus Deutsch Stamora ,Familie Faul .Daniel für dise Vidéo.Das Schiksal brachte Sie mit éminemment Bruder nach Frankreich in die Ardennes wo mein Vater in franzosische gefangenschaft war .Viele grüsse an die Banater aus Frankreich.

Thank you for showing some of the Donau Schwaben history. My family is originally from that area, and I have seen many pictures & heard many stories from my parents and grandparents who are now long gone. But they left me with many wonderful tradtions which I now pass along to my own children! And... I still can speak Swäbish. Recht vielen Dank!

Maybe someday You may be able to travel to those places, You may be surprised of the feeling You get when Youlift a handfull of dirt and let it fall slowly between Your fingers and realize it is more worth then gold... How many people got fed from it and how it got started from swamps and Puszta Land... how much pain, suffering but also happiness it helped bear. A handfull of dirt, mixed with the sweat of Our ancestors... Health, Luck and just the Best. Memories is all we will have left at the end. Seriously.

I'm from Jahrmarkt Banat, and I still was lucky enough to live there before everyone left, now all the old traditions are gone, a complete culture is lost 😭😭😭

Wundervolle Erinnerungen wurden wieder wach, obwohl ich noch recht jung war als ich das Banat verlassen musste. Es hat aber für immer ein ganz besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen, vor allem das Dorf "Freidorf" wo ich geboren wurde. Leider fehlt es in der Auflistung der Trachten und Dörfer.

Alles bleibt Geschichte, eine große schwäbische Kultur ist hier verloren! ein großer Schmerz für diejenigen, die auf dieser Erde geboren und gelebt wurden, war Aradul Nou und bleibt meine Heimat! 1955-1971 Ich bin mit Tränen in den Augen gegangen, und wenn ich mit Tränen zurückkomme, erinnere ich mich an die schöne Kindheit hier! All attemps, tried by the Securitate to roll back history failed, because the ROMANIAN ARMY was on the people´s side !!! Watching ALL these videos here, concerning Banat and Transsylvania/Siebenbürgen show, that Suevians and Saxons had minority rights, that Germans in Hungary never had and what Silesians in Polen could dream of untill 1991. German schools, German colleges, German newspapers, German radio stations and German TV channels were unthinkable in Hungary and in Poland. In Romania it was standard. Now, most of of you are (seems to me) fishing for sympathy. You wanna here stuff like awww, we´re sooo sorrrry for you...we´re sooo sad...we all pity you as heck... YOU ALL have been caught by the western way of consumption...McDonalds, Kaufhof, Wallmart, fancy clothes that you can wear only in the year you bought it...the following year, it was old fashioned... German kids laughed at your kids, when they wore yesteryear´s clothes...a new car ( that NEVER was owned by you, but to the BANK !!!)... minimus 3 yrs. later, you HAD to buy the latest model, if not, you were out... Leaving your home AFTER 1989 was YOUR OWN FAULT !!! A few Germans from Poland emigrated to Germany after 1989. And a lot fewer from Hungary. But nearly all from Romania. because of...I already told you. Going back into history, it is Germany´s fault, I agree. 1914 Germany supported Austria, a big mistake. The treaty of Trianon divided the Banat. 1941 Romania supported Germany in a completely senseless war, that could never be won. Germany´s war made the Soviets and communism invade Romania. You see, ALL the faults in history that could be made, were made by Germany. So, what the heck, was your longing for that Germany ???

Deutschsanktmichael, genannt Zillasch Sanmihaiul German ist nicht mal dabei und wird auch nicht erwähnt ein Schwabendorf ca 17 Km von Temeschburg entfernt. Da gibt es auch eine schöne Kirche die habe ich hier in den Bilder vermisst !!!
