Will you be updating this information soon? The system will be completely different beginning May 20, 2024, as stated on their website, making it more difficult for people to game the system.

There is nothing to update as of yet. Currently everything in this video still applies until May 20th 2024. Once Disney announces official changes then ill make a new video. I definitely think they should have given people more time like make these changes as of say 1/1/2025 but here we are. I will have a video coming soon where i'll discuss this current situation as we wait for the announcement.

You can do it the day of your first park day but you have to go to guest relations. That process only takes a few minutes. Rather than hours. So if you don’t care about having it done in advance you can do it that way too

Yeah thats a great option for some...We prefer to do everything in advance so once my son is in the park he can get on the ride asap.

Been trying to pre register for a few days, 1st day 4hrs and then they closed. 2nd day 3hrs and it timed me out. 3rd day, i am currently in queue, 5 hrs and counting now

Can you use DAS for Individual Lightning Lane rides?

You can use DAS on any ride just for virtual queue you need to get into the virtual queue first.

Does the person with DAS have to scan in first for the second checkpoint as well? Once scanned into the park, is it true that you can't select a ride that is one of your pre-selections if you haven't redeemed it yet? Say your pre-selection for pirates isn't until 3pm, but you want to ride it with DAS at 11am. Will the system let you do it or give you an error message? Hopefully I'm making sense 😅

No just the first time and if there is a 2nd check point anyone can scan. Im pretty sure you wont be able to book another time back for the same pre-selection ride until you use it, cancel it with a cast member or it expires. Hope this helps!

Can you do more than 2 rides per day with DAS pass?

Yes once you’re in the park you can get one at a time all day long.

Ok, but my son is not going to sit and wait and talk to someone on the computer very long, we are talking he will be visible for a minute tops once the person comes on the video chat before he will run off. Do they expect the individual to sit and be seen by the employe the whole time? Hence our need for a DAS. He cannot just sit and look and a person on the computer.

Your child doesn’t need to wait with you but your child needs to be available when the cast members send's the video chat link. So if your child is NOT home or is in school you can't be approved. Once the chat is live they need your child maybe for 1 minute and thats to take a photo. So you can wait and answer the questions and wait for the live chat and tell them why you need the DAS pass before you bring your child over. Hope this helps!
