It looks very good - one of my favorite vehicles. I’m in for at least two and hoping they produce a bunch of variants in both “alte” and “neu” versions. As some one who started building models in the early-mid-1960s, I’m amazed at how far the hobby has come since then, with great kits in multiple scales, with lots of detail, and lots of after market accessories to improve whatever bothers you. This really feels like the golden age of plastic modeling.

Oh boy, another 1/16 halftrack to look forward to... Would totally love Rommel's command version, but, I'm sure someone will come out with a conversion/upgrade for it it Das Werk or Takom don't... I'll buy a pair, as usual so I can do multiple versions.

Andy, I love Das Werk's kit choices. I'm in the middle of the 1/16 Sd. Kfz. 251/1 Ausf.D - may I offer some feedback on this my first Das Werk kit. There needs to be more locator pins / slots on pieces and those that have been made are too small to give a positive 'click' into position. Anyone else or is this just me?

Just like the M-8 these German half tracks are filled with interior detail, BRILLIANT. Did not bother with the Puma as you ended up with an empty interior tub void of any detail,not right for kits in 1/16 scale.

@@jdrake8738 true. I live in a tiny condo in Hawaii and I have no more space for any model kits much less 1/16. But this is my fave afv of all time and I have to figure out a way to find the space even if I have to just throw away a few of my 1/35 scale models....btw i ordered the new takam 1/35 SD kfz 250/1 and have heard it's a difficult build. Which is dispiriting to say the least...
