In 1988, huge football fan gather in Dasarat Football Stadium to support their homeland team Janakpur cigarette Factory against Bangladeshi Mokti joddha for Tribhuvan Challenge Sheild. After 1-0 score lead for bangladeshi team in 17th minute the match was disturbed by huge hailstrom which caused chaos in the stadium and panic in the fans and in 98 football fans were killed where more than hundred other were injured..

I was a small boy and was there at that time. that time was raining at the moment and I was really afraid, we heard Sarad chandra saha was totally responsible for not opening the door and killing around 100 people.. Boys union club or maybe Mohan bagan from india final competition that day. Tarun subba was the goalkeepe from the boys union club..
