The dinner scene in The Bet episode is hilarious. Everyone in the family is just used to them acting that way.

Ah the season where Derek realised he was in love with his step-sister.

What point in the show do you think Derek realised that he had feelings for Casey?

The episode where they were locked in the bathroom. I think he liked her since they met, but that was kind of the "oh" moment.

Do you think Casey realised her feelings for Derek during the course of the show? Because I'm not sure about it.
@hackedy98343 жыл бұрын
Oh, Casey was 100% unaware. I think the "same difference" scene was when she realized that there was something not step siblingish going on but I think it took her a while do finally get it (accept it).

Yet another question. What do think in the show indicates that Casey and Derek like each other that way?
@hackedy98343 жыл бұрын
I'd say it's mostly the chemistry and tension. It really made us think that there was something going on. All of those glaces and "Why would I care what he/she's doing". The actors really did an amazing job. I remember thinking that if I read the script without watching the show, their relationship could've just been played off as step siblings who don't get along. Even the iconic "same difference" scene could've been played off as sibling bonding if read differently. Casey could've easily said it in a casual, cheerful, "who cares" way, but instead we got that eyes locked, huge tension moment. Creators knew what they were doing. But there were moments where you would still think, "Wait, what?" Them getting mad about each others dates, following each other around, being borderline obsessive...

@@hackedy9834 Thats a great answer. For me, its along the lines of denying that they care about eachother constantly (which yeah, step-siblings do but it seems a bit too frequent if its platonic)/having a strange preoccupation with eachother. Being like almost attached at a hip.
