Going from the lore, Talbot Grimes was originally a survivor who came across Vigo’s lab. His experiments in the fog displeased the entity. So the entity turned Grimes in to a killer as punishment. Knowing survivors have become killers in the backstory, it’s not too much of a stretch that killers could become survivors.

I doubt it considering the Entity favors killers over survivors since the latter are essentially viewed as little more than toys, while the former can become truly favored by the entity like ghost-face. It could be a punishment I suppose, but I highly doubt we will ever see anything like this, since a survivor -> killer is a big step up, giving a potentially boring survivor a killer power, backstory as to how they got there and everything, where as a killer -> survivor just leaves people wondering what the killer version of them would've been like.

I actually think Trickster would make for a pretty neat survivor. All of the more aggressive survivors we have currently are defined by their strong survival instincts and determination to make it out of the trial no matter what, but our Trickster's fragile ego and infatuation with hearing the pain of his victims would make his survivor counterpart obsessed with turning the tables and making the killer suffer. Maybe he could even have a trap perk that lets him place down some nails on the ground that would briefly hinder the killer.

Huntress I could see having a vigil effect with her lullaby comforting survivors. How will it buff or work I’m not sure tbh. Maybe for a aggressive type perk maybe something that increases stun time by a small amount but has a cool down maybe. And a good stealth or even aura perk maybe when killer goes to use their power you can see their aura for a short time. And I could see for cosmetics maybe more clean versions of her outfits such as a more intact soldier outfit her dresses in Better shape. Maybe even her moth as a ultra rare skin to. But that’s my thoughts if she were to be a survivor

As far as 'evil' characters being survivors... Technically, whether your good or evil shouldn't really matter too much anyways. It's what you feel. The entity feeds off of emotions after all, does it not? A character like Michael Myers, for example, who doesn't really feel ANY emotions, wouldn't give off any fear were he to be the one chased around by a killer for a change. It's not that he's evil that would make it not work.

But this is comics (part of OG timeline and H20 timeline) Michael, who is not an emotionless shell of a man. He is forced to be a killer and we see him showing emotions in H5, when he removes his mask for Jamie and we see him crying. Only because he doesn't show emotions often, doesn't mean he doesn't have them

I could have just as easily listed the Dredge, or Nemesis. You're getting caught up in the small details. My comment was talking about how the entity feeds off of emotions, and a killer turned survivor would need to be someone who could feel fear, and hope, for the entity to feed off of, rather than necessarily be 'good'.

Pinhead does make sense as a survivor by the Hellraiser lore, depending on the comics or movies. Elliot Spencer in the movies was genuinely remorseful about his time as the Hell Priest. The comics? Dude is evil, plain and simple.

For nemesis the only way it would work is if its movie Nemesis because that one was alices boyfriend mutated and reprogrammed to be bioweapon. That version was even able to break out of it programming temporarily. Edit For trickster its an aggro taking survivor a mix of ash and david using his showmanship and obessive need to be the center of attention to take aggression and benefit from long chases i literally made a fan made version of a survivor trickster youd be surprised how easy it is Edit II here done Ji woon haak A kpop star with an unhealthy obsession to the spotlight and will risk anything for center stage. His perks the show must go on, razzle dazzle, and slight of hand increase item effectiveness in times of crisis, allow him to excel when in long chases and gain benefits the longer the killers eyes are on him. I did this in less than 10 minutes food i even made perk effects but I digress

I thought movie Nemesis was Matt, who infiltrated Umbrella with his sister. We see her die at the beginning of the film, and come back as a zombie later on. But yes I agree movie Nemesis could work if the human part is able to “wake up” and regains a conscience. I suppose it would depend on how much the entity is watching and controlling Nemesis.

Technically, if you wanna REALLY stretch it, Xenomorph could work as a survivor if the Xenomorph in question is Jeri. I know in the comics, he’s more of a synthetic than a real Xeno, but it could still theoretically work.

Hux would certainly be interesting as a survivor. Maybe, he has a common goal with the survivors to eliminate our Alien-Based Killers. He can't exactly harvest human flesh if the Xenos keep stealing it and/or Demo keeps eating people. I also think the Trickster could make an amazing survivor. I think he could be the first survivor to have pure self-defensive-based perks that are not magical (if he kept his knives as a survivor). This would certainly make other killers suffer and boost his ego. I actually think the Pig could make a good survivor. Her perks (as a Jigsaw Apprentice) could be similar to generator-focused and/or reverse-engineering any killer's mechanic enhancements and/or weapons. Just imagine Amanda being able to turn the tables on Death-Slinger with her own version of the Redeemer - I see that as pretty kick-ass! The downside is this means she would be likely to be at a major disadvantage against any basic killers and/or magic/hex based killers.

I know you already said you'd get heat for this but I think I should be one of the people to deliver that heat. Pig is IMO the #1 best pick for a killer turned survivor for multiple reasons: 1) Amanda is one of, if not the most, worthy survivors as she literally has played multiple Jigsaw games and survived all of them, she has more than what it takes to be a fighter and try to survive. 2) The argument that she is the worst of the bunch IMO feels invalid, sure Hoffman is the strong corrupt cop & Gordon is the doctor of the group, but Amanda is the one most personally influenced on the morality scale, she genuinely got corrupted by John for more than Hoffman (who was already bad) and Gordon (who we never SAW (punt intended) learn from John). It would be interesting to see the survivor side of her come out as she once again works with people to survive a deadly situation. 3) She is cute AF

Agreed. Another point in Amanda’s favour is she is Cramer’s most dedicated follower. She was looking after him when he was dying. She willingly put herself through those death games for Cramer. From a lore perspective, she’s got loyalty, willpower, and endurance on her side, which can sometimes be more powerful than the more technical skills.

I disagree on Michael, despite being evil It’s clear him and the entity work on 2 different wave lengths which could lead to more interesting dynamics, not to mention him being so quiet would work as a stealth survivor who mostly on his own, kinda like a mix between David,Yun and Nea. He could have something like head on where he can ambush and stun the killer allowing him to slip away unnoticed, idk just a small idea nothing too special

Not to forget that this is Michael from comics, which is part of both OG timeline and H20 timeline and OG timelines Michael is controlled by the evil demon, so if he was a survivor and freed of the Curse, he would be a good teammate.

The Spirit. Pushing through the pain made her stronger. Each time she is put into the injured state, she gains a token (up to X). The next time she stuns the killer, the stun last longer based on how many tokens she has. She loses all tokens if hooked or put into the dying state. 🖤

I liked the ideas I agree with the concepts for perks that you described and I would love to see some of the perk ideas you mentioned. I would love to see a survivor that has better teamwork encouraging perks and perks that allow a survivor to take punishment and bounce back from the punishment.

I think adrianna would make a good survivor she could be a better yun jin make her more on the quiet side and have her perks be focused on her character, one to increase haste (fits her ability and chapter thematics), a gen related perk like blast mine or flashbang and one more unique one focused on her survival above others

4:14. Ddudde c'mon that's the easiest down ever. Use the guard to start breaking the pallet, jump down the ledge onto the staircase then walk up to cut them off. The guard wont break the pallet soon enough for them to walk through it and they can't vualt over it while a guard is breaking it. my goodness, as a knight main, seeing this huts my eyes.

It would be so to have a killer looking surviour, would be unique, theres allready killers that could be confused as surviours, like the huntress, legion o trickster, but we dont have any survivours that could be confused as killers, maybe a zombie like survivour or a anthro something, slime, werewolf heck bring back the observer as a muteded mess. Also waiting for a non athro killer, the only non anthro killer off the top of my head is dredge

1) I'm all fkr survivor Wesker, if only he keeps his goofy run animation. 2) I think another neat role for Adiris is to have survivor with strong connection to the Entity. Through prays of course. We already have Cheryl and her perk which block the gen. I think having survivor with all three perks dedicated to get Entity's blessing would be cool.

The interesting killers as survivors are incredibly fun with a vast variety of strengths. This can lend to a great and fun theme of perhaps events within dbd? Immagine an event that releases killers as survivors and perhaps the other way around aswell? It puts the game somewhat upside down. I'd be down for that. Not to mention it would give Behaviour a good excuse to rework and empower some characters within their old lore to become far more intersting!

I play mostly survivorn but when i play killer i would say Doctor is my main...I think he could make a pretty good job at surviving, to the point where his curiosity and madness take over again and he sabotages himself 😅 Btw i am a good doctor, i always make sure that some of my ..patients..live to get another appointment 🙈
